Chaotic would be the best way to describe this place.

Obviously it’s very popular, which causes large queues, slow service and tables so close you’re bumping elbows with fellow diners.

The food seems nice enough, if you get what you order.

I visited and requested 2 vegetarian burgers to go. The staff member taking the order then asked “well done or medium?”. I obviously looked confused, as he then asked how I would like my steak cooked.

I pulled out a menu and pointed to the correct item on the menu, which he then repeated back to me, and produced a recipe for the correct item.

This was then confirmed by 2 other staff who appeared 10-15 minutes later to double check what I had requested.

There was clearly a degree of language barrier, as one of the ladies was repeating ‘no legume’, and when I wasn’t sure what she was saying, switched to listing salad ingredients (presumably for the burger).

Once I received my order I walked back to my hotel, only to open the boxes and find double hamburgers.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to return as I was leaving a short time later to catch a flight.

I have since emailed the restaurant with no response, which has led me to write this review.

Dont come here, to start off, the mashed potatoes were so nasty and bland I almost lost my appetite. One of the worst steaks EVER, possibly worse than the mashed potatoes which is almost impossible. If I did try eating the rest of the steak I would still b chewing on it like bubble gum 4 hours later, check the picture for yourself if you don't believe me, 30% of it is gonna be fat even if u order the something "good". The mashed potatoes had absolutely NO flavor at all. Fries were the best part. This place is extremely brutally bad pretending to be upscale. Id rather eat fast food or just go hungry than come back here ever again. The server was friendly though, definitely not her fault. Besides her n the French fries, RUN AWAY. In conclusion, hands down the worst meal I can remember having n a very very long time if not ever. Not trying to hate but it was miserable, maybe if your kids want pizza it MIGHT b ok MAYBE but don't have dinner there. We heard a lot about this place and had reservations at 6 pm. We ordered Cuba Libre and Mai Tai. The drinks were ok. However, the Cuba Libre was watered down. I'm a rum person. I ordered the Risotto, Saffron scallops, and my wife ordered the Mahi mahi, mashed sweet potatoes. We think it was poi, purple potato, not her taste. The waitress came back and said the chef was out of the Risotto. It seemed early to be out of a popular dish. I asked for a recommendation and directed to Tahitian shrimp stir-fry. It turned out to be a coconut curry, bland, and no flavor in the veggies. The 5 or 6 pieces of shrimp had heads still on them with no taste and a fishy smell and taste. I think I ate two of them. I would think the restaurants next to the coast, that serve seafood, should know how to make it for this price,plus have great quality. I did not finish my food and did not order anything else. My wife ordered Sauvignon Blanc. However, they were out. We got the check at full price and went back to the hotel. Seems like they don't care. Customer service is poor.
