Citadines Apart'hotel Croisette Cannes — Hotel in Grasse

We stayed in room 116 for 2 nights and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. I agree with fellow reviewers that the photos are a gross misrepresentation of the real view / state of the apartment and that it also comes with a bad smell.

The good - Check in experience was good. We were greeted by a very bubbly young lady who kindly helped me with my luggages to the lift. The lobby and toilet at the lobby were clean, well maintained and welcoming. Location is a short 5-7 minutes walk to the main shopping streets of Cannes.

The bad:- There is a stench from the toilet that smells like dried pee the moment you open the door to the apartment. We tried cleaning the toilet seat, bowl and floor (cleaned off a lot of yellowish stuff) with soap ourselves, hoping to get rid of the stench, but it didn’t go away.

The apartment is old and in need of a fresh coat of paint, new lighting (all the lights are yellow and makes it feel like we were staying in a dark basement apartment). There are a lot of stains, bump marks etc on the walls of the apartment. That said, the rest of the apartment was clean (except for the toilet) albeit a lot of stains/marks due to age. Sound proofing is poor (probably due to the age of the property as well) and I can hear people walking or moving chairs or things from both our apartment and the one above us.

We left our luggages with the concierge after checking out and were told that we cannot collect the items between 12pm to 2pm cause nobody will be there. We were surprised and the staff just shrug and said “I already told you so” when she didn’t. It was never communicated to us until that moment. It is honestly very shocking because you can’t expect guests to know this, be unable to collect their luggages or arrive between 12pm to 2pm with no one to attend to them (notwithstanding that check in is 3pm).

Subsequently, I checked the booking email and it was stated at the bottom of the email under ‘Contact Us’ that reception hours is 8am to 12pm and 2pm to 8pm. However, I think this is a significant term & condition that needs to be highlighted upfront to the guests, at the point of booking and again at check in, so they are aware they cannot have staff or luggage access between 12-2pm.

The stench and lack of cleanliness of the toilet in our apartment is revolting. The stench is so strong that it goes into the room through the aircon vents and we could smell it even in our sleep. The property needs an overhaul in the air filtration (vents also need to be cleaned as it has accumulated a lot of dust) and deep cleaning of the apartment toilet.

I’ve stayed in hotels that are way cheaper and have better cleanliness and condition than this apartment. The no-access policy from 12pm to 2pm is unheard of and honestly unacceptable. I did not appreciate the poor attitude of the check-out staff who said “I already told you so”. She said the exact same thing to another group of ladies who were also checking out and trying to deposit their...

We booked this apartment hotel through the Interval Getaway programme as usually the standard of accommodation is good. Not on this occasion. The unit was advertised by Interval as being suitable for 2-4 people. The amount of storage was limited and the lounge table could certainly not accommodate 4 people as it was impossible to position this number of chairs around the small table. In fact only one proper dining chair was provided. A further 2 folding chairs were in the wardrobe and the fourth chair was an arm chair.||The unit was certainly not maintained- there was mould on the bathroom ceiling, there were bloodstains on the duvet and there was a hole in the wall by the front door. ||We complained and to be fair to the hotel we were offered the option of a different unit ( not available immediately as the hotel was fully booked) or complimentary breakfast. We opted for the breakfast and were glad to have selected this option as during our week long stay we overheard several other guests complaining about their room. ||What was most concerning however was that one day while we were out our room was unexpectedly serviced and my earrings, which I had left on the bedside table, were missing when I returned. In fact we were surprised to see that several of our belongings had been moved. According to the documentation provided by Interval the room was not going to be serviced during our stay and not expecting any one to enter the room, the earrings had not been locked away in the safe.Sarah on reception promised that the Head of Cleaning would investigate and contact me by email. However the hotel failed to respond to emails asking for an update. It seems the hotel management is not bothered that there is a thief on the loose. For this reason I would not recommend staying...

Club Studio mit Balkon zum Innenhof - Größe 30qm||||Lage / Umgebung||||700 m zur Croisette (sicherer Weg auch abends, in der Nähe ist ein großes Polizeikommissariat sowie das Justizgebäude), kurzer Weg in die Altstadt, dort befindet sich die Straße der Feinschmecker „Rue Meynadier" und im Anschluss die Markthalle „Des Marché Forville" (Di.- So. 07:00–13:00 Uhr) in der man frisches Obst/Gemüse kaufen kann. In der Nachbarschaft befindet sich ein gutsortierter Bio-Supermarkt, eine kleine Bäckerei, ein Friseur, ein Supermarkt u.v.a.m.||||Garage||||15 € pro Tag||Die Parkgarage befindet sich im Haus. Man fährt von der TG direkt zur Rezeption oder weiter auf die Zimmeretage. Die Tiefgarage ist sehr alt und die Rampe entsprechend steil. Unser Roadster liegt sehr tief und wir hätten die Garage um ein Haar nicht nutzen können. Der Spoiler war nur zwei Zentimeter vom Boden entfernt. ||||Rezeption||||Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch meinen Wunsch ein eiliges Fax zu senden, wurde sofort erfüllt. Ebenso erhielten wir einen ungebrauchten Korkenzieher um unsere Weinflasche zu öffnen und Badetücher für den Strand (Gratis). ||||Club Studio ||||Das Studio ist zwar mit günstigen Möbeln ausgestattet, aber es ist sauber und gemütlich. Aufgrund des Sofas und des Essbereiches bietet es deutlich mehr „Homefeeling" als ein Hotelzimmer. Aufgrund der Fensterfront ist das Studio hell und freundlich. Abends hört man leise Fahrgeräusche des Lifts. Aus den umliegenden Studios sind nur wenig Geräusche wahr zu nehmen. Die Bettdecken waren mit weißen Bettbezügen nett anzusehen. Leider waren sie für die Temperaturen etwas zu warm. Die zahlreichen Lampen im Studio sorgten abends für eine gemütliche Beleuchtung. Die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt und eine Softreinigung durchgeführt. Während unseres fünftägigen Aufenthaltes wurden die Bettbezüge einmal gewechselt. ||||Der Wohnbereich ist mit Vinylboden (Parkettstruktur) ausgestattet. Ein gemütliches Sofa (mit Ausklapp-Funktion) für eine dritte/vierte Person), ein Sessel, Esstisch / zwei Stühle, TV-Flat mit SAT und Worldwide-TV !!! ein großer Kleiderschrank mit Holzbügel, ein Bügelbrett, ein neues Dampfbügeleisen, ein großer Spiegel, eine Klima-Anlage sowie ein Kingsize-Bett (hoher Schlafkomfort) mit Nachtschränken und ein iHOME-Radio sind vorhanden.||Küchenzeile||||Die Einrichtung der Küche: Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler, 2-Ceranfelder, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Espresso-Automat für Nespresso-Cups „magimix", Wasserkocher, Geschirr/Gläser (Wasser/Wein), Besteck für vier Personen, Salatbesteck, Sieb, Bratpfanne, zwei Kochtöpfe (groß/klein), ein Brotmesser u.a. Des Weiteren gibt es Tabs für den Geschirrspüler, Spülmittel, ein Küchentuch, zwei Geschirrtücher und eine Küchenrolle. Vorgenannte Dinge sind sehr wichtig und nicht in jedem Fall vorhanden. ||||Bad||||Im Bad ist Platz für eine Person. Es ist modern eingerichtet: Zwei große Schubladen mit Fön und Handtüchern. Die Dusche befindet sich in der Badewanne. Body- und Hair-Shampoo in „One" befindet sich neben der Dusche. Eine elektrische Heizung kann jederzeit angestellt werden. Die Toilette befindet sich in einem kleinen Extra-Raum. Der Toilettendeckel senkt sich hydraulisch – wie Zuhause.||||Dachterrasse ||||Im 5. OG befindet sich eine Dachterrasse ausgestattet mit drei Liegen und schönen Auflagen sowie einem Tisch mit Gartenstühlen. Am späten Nachmittag kann man hier die Sonne genießen. Der Bodenbelag ist künstlicher Rasen.||||Frühstück ab 08:00 Uhr||||Das Frühstück ist entweder im Zimmerpreis inkludiert oder zu einem Preis von 10 € pro Person buchbar. An schönen Tagen kann man im Innenhof unterm Sonnenschirm frühstücken. Das Frühstücksangebot: Kaffeevariationen aus dem Kaffeevollautomaten, verschiedene Säfte in schönen Karaffen, Evian-Wasser, Milch, Cornflakes in Einzelportionen, Joghurt, Käse/Schinken, Honig und verschiedene Marmeladen-Sorten in kleinen Gläsern, frisches Obst: Bananen oder Äpfel zum Mitnehmen, knusprige kleine Baguette-Brötchen, Schoko-Croissants,...
