Beautiful, modern, safe (keycard entry for floors to rooms from elevator), clean, nice and friendly staff. Rooms are lovely and well stocked w everything you need to stay for a while. We got a suite w separate toilet, separate walk in glass door shower, a kitchen w clean and modern sink, dishwasher, hot plate cooking station for 2 pots or pans that are easy to clean with just an electric surface, microwave, mini fridge, and dishwashing detergent. Also a hot water electric pot and coffee machine. Nice silverware, glass cups and wine glasses, and sound quality porcelain bowls and plates. Also pots and pans and glass cooking and serving bowls (not plastic and environment and health friendly). You could cook daily if you wanted to buy groceries at the Monoprix grocery which is a chain and sells good food items and non food items. The monoprix is walking distance about less than 10 min. Hotel has breakfast for $15 euro extra. Great location where you can walk to all luxury stores like D&G, Chanel, and the venue where they hold the Cannes Film festival. Close to the main street Antibes. Close to the train station (7-10 min walk). And of course it's close to all great food places! The bed is a bit soft but it's clean and sheets and pillows are great . Pillows have lots of cushion. There are 2 flat screen TVs - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Really nice and convenient. The living room has a nice bar station/eating dining table and also can be used as a table for working standing up or sitting in one of the 4 bar stool chairs. We have a Terrace and the view is lovely of the other residences and the courtyards of them nicely decorated. There's also a small table w cloth modern looking chair for putting your items there or to work and there is a comfortable cloth loveseat sofa. This is a perfect hotel. I would say if I were to change anything ... the cloth sofas and chair even tho both are clean...just nice to have vinyl easy to clean furniture that doesn't collect dust. Love the sliding door to the bedroom bc there is some good sound protection. I tested it and made my YouTube video loud and it was audible but not much. There's also a sliding door to the bathroom and shower areas. Lots of Shelves and space to put things. Iron and board, hair dryer, and central air w adjustable thermostat in Celsius. Just make sure you choose ETE or HIVER because ETE is summer or Air conditioning and HIVER is winter or heat. This is in the bedroom and the thermostat is in the kitchen area. Oh and don't forget the swim pool and laundry machine and safe in the room and towel Warner rack in bathroom shower... so many nice details you will love. Some people complained about the wifi…it was only not great one day when it rained. Outside of that day for a few hours it’s...
Read moreThe front desk clerk, Natalya was polite upon checking in. The transaction was very smooth. However, I must give warning when it comes to reserving and paying in advance; there is no refund or credit given if you cancel, even its 48 hours before arrival. The property is handsome, but the room was a tad bit dissapointing for the cost. It looked nothing like as advertised. I felt a little deceived. Having to go to another building to reach the tiny room with a balcony was not idea. But, my quest didn't come to live in the room, only to sleep in the twin size bed. Also, there are their additional taxes, after paying almost €1,600 for 7 nights. There was no forewarning of this charge per person. However, There is a lovely, spa/gym and restaurant for a breakfast buffet at €16. It is a 7 minute walk to the Palace of Festivals. Oh, well life goes on...you win and loose. It could've been worse. UPDATE I decided to stay a few nights. This was a perfect choice. Once again, Natalya was the perfect host. A smile makes a big difference, she greeted me with a smile when I returned to prepay for my reservation. I arrived early, so the Front Desk attendant, Mary allowed me to leave my luggage until check-in. Her kindness was most appreciated. Natalya checked me in without any delay. My room had a problem with the AC, it would not turn off. The room became very cold. She did her best to make me confortable. Later in the evening, Jazzil did his best to resolve the AC problem. However, to no avail the AC would not shut down. He changed my room, gave me some tea, and I slept comfortably until 3:00pm the following day. I appreciate Excellent customer service. Natalya, Jazzil and Mary represented Nemea very well. I will return and continue to...
Read moreBy no metric is this a 4 star hotel. The blonde girl at the front desk in particular does not speak or respond or look at you when you speak, really baffling to see that. She was so incredibly unhelpful, she only speaks when you annoy her. The other people at the front desk were much more helpful (like the one who actually called to check if our room was ready before 3pm, which it was). Whoever manages this place also does a very bad job. Toilet paper left in the lobby for more than 6 hours (see photo), cleaning cart blocking the emergency exit for more than 12 hours (see photo). The carpets are also unbelievably stained (see photo, carpet was completely covered in brown stains just like that all the way). Cleaning people also extremely rude beyond belief. You also need to take out your own trash, despite them keeping the kitchen area of the room locked, which to me makes no sense, never seen that in any hotel. Laundry room also disgusting. Pool was super cold, after we tried using it we also kept seeing someone with equipment testing the water, it looked like he was getting samples of the water quality, which also did not seem like a good sign. Coffee machine downstairs would have been nice, but in 5 days we were there it never got restocked so could not use. It's hard to find anything that was positive about our stay here. Especially the rudeness of the blond girl and cleaning ladies. A two star hotel is much closer to this than a five star one is by...
