We were a bit worried when we booked the hotel as there were no reviews. But we were delighted to find an amazing hotel, with all mod cons (except a telephone); tasteful, modern furnishings; a bathroom to die for (a glass bowl for a basin no less!); a location that could not be beaten; but best of all a fantastic staff- especially Corrine - who couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was full, but we couldn't hear anyone else - we could have been the only guests. The room was spotlessly clean; beautifully decorated; towels changed every day; and a bed and pillows so comfortable it was difficult to get up in the morning.||||The hotel was a 10 minute stroll from the port in one direction (boat trips galore!) and the old town with restaurants, shops and an ambience that only the French can achieve.||||Corrine, the manageress, went the full 9 yards (plus a few more!) to ensure we had a memorable visit. It was my husband's 70th birthday (but don't be put off - this hotel is for any age group because of its proximity to so many attractions for both young and old alike) and Corrine made it such a special day, including booking us into a fantastic restaurant. She also spent ages trying to get us booked on a trip into the mountains - not an easy task as the Tour de France was in full swing at the time.||||The hotel was immaculate; the staff was incredibly kind and helpful; the location couldn't have been bettered. What more could you ask for?||||Just a tip when you arrive at Nice airport - don't get a taxi (35 Euros) get the bus - it stops very close to the hotel (place garibaldi) and only costs 6 Euros. If you have time - take the bus (just round the corner) to Monaco for 1.5 euros each and visit the palace. We would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Geneve to anyone wanting to experience the Cote D'Azur - it was magic and at a very...
Read moreHonestly one of the worst "hotel" stays i had. It's suppose to be 2 star hotel and j don't know how. We paid 60 euro per night which isn't that cheap for what we were suppose to be but the bathroom was super small and old with yellow mold in the shower and the light in the bedroom was not working properly and still a neon lamp. A clothing rack that is falling off, dirty floor and wallpaper that is peeling out of the wall. Absolutely disgusting and they actually admit that there standard room is awful and we should have paid more for a nicer room but 60 euro per night for a 2 star hotel is not cheap. Stay away from here. Also there was noise that woke you up from 5 am to 8 am every round hour. Learn from my mistake and stat...
