I stayed at the Odalys hotel apartment in Le Havre and was very disappointed with both the condition of the facilities and the service provided.|The freezer in the apartment was absolutely filthy – it was disgusting, with what appeared to be dried blood inside. Clearly, it hadn’t been cleaned properly before my arrival, which raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene standards of the accommodation.|I reported the issue to reception, but the staff were completely unhelpful. They had no solution for defrosting or cleaning the freezer and seemed unwilling or untrained to deal with even basic maintenance requests. The housekeeper was equally ineffective, citing that the fridge was integrated into the kitchen and could not be accessed, unplugged, or moved, as it was fixed behind a wooden panel to match the kitchen decor.|This setup made it impossible to clean or defrost the appliance without professional intervention – yet there was no maintenance staff available to assist during my stay.|Additionally, the building only has one elevator to serve nine floors, leading to long waiting times, especially during check-in/check-out periods.|Overall, I expected far better standards from a property carrying the Odalys name. The staff at the hotel were excellent. They were very friendly and happy to make recommendations for local restaurants.||The location is very good. It is convenient for buses, trams and trains, as well as restaurants, takeaways and the Docks Vauban shopping centre.||The facilities in the room were good, with a microwave, fridge (with freezer compartment), electric hob and mini dishwasher. Crockery, glassware and cutlery are all provided. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and a good shower with both a conventional shower head and a rainfall head.||The room was very hot and did not have air conditioning. This made it necessary to open the windows, rendering the soundproofing ineffective and resulting in quite a lot of noise from the road below. This was the only significant drawback for us.||Overall, the price we paid was very reasonable for the quality of accommodation and service that we received. I would certainly stay at this...

New Aparthotel in Le Havre, recommend!

-Very nice front desk staff, speak good English, always polite and helpful. Lobby is modern and nice. Check-in/out are flexible!

-Hotel is very new, clean and nicely renovated, very well equipped kitchen to cook, bed and blanket are very comfortable, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, safe, and with more amenities comparing to other Aparthotels I stayed before in France.

-Location is great, walking distance to the train station, McDonald's is right next door and Les Docks shopping center is right cross the street where you would find Lidl supermarket and restaurants, center is about 10-15 mins walk.

Unfortunately, there is only one elevator for both customers and cleaning ladies, so we had to wait quite some time in the lobby for the elevators to come. No Netflix or YouTube for those days we stayed (back in Oct 2023) since the hotel was still working on the network, but WIFI...
