Booked this hotel as an alternative to some others we've stayed in on a trip to Le Mans 24hr. (see other reviews).|The reception isnt open all day, so we arrived midday & had a debacle trying to check-in via the externally located machine which wasn't working. the helpline No on the reservation couldn't be of any help other than advising us to draw the attention of any staff indoors. We got the attention of a lady (who was hoovering and let us in so we could explain our situation. there were 6 of us (3 rooms booked) She was quite curt, unhelpful & dismissive of our plight.|We waited till 5 o'clock (outside) for reception staff. At 17:00 the entrance was then opened and to our amazement the receptionist was indeed the cleaner we spoke with 5hrs earlier. She looked at our booking paperwork and immediately gave us our keys! Why she couldn't have done this 5hrs earlier i do not know. We were angry, but also tired & just wanted to get to our rooms.|The good;- Its location is handy (north Le Mans) for a taxi to town/circuit. beds are comfortable. You have your own en-suite (as apposed to communal facilities)||The Not so good:- En suite is a prefabricated fibreglass pod. reception is only open 07:00 - 11:00 and 17;00 23:00. So if you arrive between 11:00 & 17:00 prepare yourself for drama. Staff are unhelpful.|There are better places to stay in this 'estate'. See my...

Read moreChose the Quick Palace as a stopover whilst en route to SW France as it was close to the motorway and a good price. We arrived very late in the evening and found the out of hours check in machine very good and easy to use once we realised to enter the booking ref without any dots between the numbers. The machine vended our key and we ordered and paid for a continental breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable although the decor was a bit tired. Although close to the motorway we could not hear any road noise. In the morning we ate from he extensive breakfast buffet which was very good. When we left I was pleased to see that the large electric gate was closed which made me feel our vehicle had been...
