Thibaut, the proprietor,welcomed us to his delightful property with a chilled glass of local wine. He was very helpful - with tips and suggestions for our stay in the region. His B&B could not be better situated for exploring Amboise (by foot) and the best of the Loire & Cher area. |The property is set in peaceful and private grounds with a large garden and many beautiful trees. It has a fascinating history too. A pool to relax by, a barbecue area for outdoor dining and, the star attraction, Snook the black Labrador, combine to make any stay here a unique and pleasant one. My family and I staying in the Aria suite (2 bedrooms plus bathroom) for a week in August. It was a perfect base for our Loire Valley trip. Both bedrooms and the bathroom were very large, clean and nicely decorated. The location was great (walking to Amboise). The gardens of the house were beautiful and we enjoyed the lovely pool and the barbecue. Breakfast was generous and wonderful and, of course, the host was perfect.
