Terrasse renaissance — Restaurant in Loches

As it adjoins an extremely popular attraction, this place can get very very busy - this is not the fault of the restaurant or the staff, just the way it is unfortunately. My mother was queuing for a seat waiting for me to come from the château. A very kind waitress (Lekbira) noticed my mother was struggling with the heat & found her a place to sit in the shade. We just had coffee & ice-cream, but I saw some of the dishes & they looked well prepared & presented. The staff worked very hard all the time we were there, but at lunch time - be warned - it can be incredibly busy! Merci beaucoup...

Need to step up their game. Vegetarian option is lettuce and tomatoes ( bye bye protein) and celiac people are not welcome as it is not a laboratory as the manager mentionned a couple of times when I asked if there is risk of cross contamination. Déjeuner ce midi même (27/09/2024) au restaurant du château du clos lucé pour trois personnes. Au premier abord on pensait le restaurant fermé, car personne dedans les membres du personnel passent leur temps à papoter au coin cuisine entre eux. Aucun accueil. Des clientes sont entrées n ayant vu personne elles ont regardé elles mêmes les cartes (car aucun menu affiché dehors) et j ai entendu un membre du personnel dire "elles sont sans gêne elles prennent les cartes" pardon mais c'est elle qui est sans gêne à rester discuter sans accueillir les gens et faire son travail. En revanche les plats principaux sont composés de bons produits après c'est pas une carte élaborée c'est plus du brunch (omelettes, soupe, quiches). Par contre en dessert cela ne sert à rien de présenter une carte des desserts avec une page complète sur les glaces si il n y a plus aucune glace du tout, ni ceci ni cela, j ai pris une des deux seules crêpes disponibles et en plus elle était froide. Bref je ne recommande absolument pas...
