I was booked into Rivages des parc for 3 weeks but as construction began I was offered and alternative booking at les citronniers about 600 meters away||With no fuss I took a studio which although adequate featured a murphy pull down bed and no room to move when it was down , I prefer a single anyway being over 80 and a bit handicapped.||Anyway with no problem and no increase in price I was offered a larger apt with bunk beds in an alcove, Perfect for me ||||I was really pleased with the management who accomodated me with no fuss||||The apartments in the citronniers are all studios I believe and all very well furnished with every need for comfortable stay||However , while the apartment may not be adequate for a family they are extremely good for a couple with perhaps a small child ,, for a larger group they should go to the other property rivages des parc which offers many variations in shapes and size||||Both properties are in good locations rivages is nearer the sea and casino while the citronniers is closer to shopping...

Our flight into Nice arrived later in the evening, so I contacted the hotel a week before our check in date to request the late check in details, as instructed in my confirmation emails. I heard nothing, so messaged again the next day, and the next, and the next, etc... On the day of check-in, less than 8 hours before our flight, the hotel confirmed they had no record of my booking, and told me to contact Hotels.com. Hotels.com blamed the hotel for cancelling my booking, but eventually agreed to give me my refund, and enough compensation to cover another hotel which we found on a different site. I had received all the confirmation emails from Hotels.com, and if I had not been chasing for late check in information, I would have arrived in Menton, with my children, with nowhere to stay. Read moreThe residence is a short walk from Menton station. (The reception is right next to Mini Max store). Easy check in, friendly staff. Room was very clean, lots of cooking appliances. I had a studio, so it was a couch with pull down double bed. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy. Balcony with shutters to block out light. They have a laundry on site which was very helpful to get all my washing done easily (laundry powder is included). It's in a really great spot close to lots of things like the beach, casino, old town, etc. ||This is a self serve apartment, so it's perfect for people want to do their own meals and have a semi apartment for the trip, it was good to have a coffee machine, and a fridge to make my sandwiches for each day.
