This hotel was literally booked as a place to sleep in between exploring the city. ||It is located right next to the Porte Bagnolet Metro stop, come sortie 3 (Belgrand) takes you to the door! So it is very convenient, there are a number of cafes, restaurants around which are average price for Paris but there are also 3 supermarkets within spitting distance.||Inside the hotel, check in was easy and the staff were helpful and mostly spoke English (when we wanted to cancel the pre-ordered breakfast). The card payment was taken as we check in. The lift was hysterically the smallest lift I had ever been in, said for 3 but 1 person and a suitcase is a squeeze.||The room was small, clean and well laid out with an ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet and sink). There were clean towels and basic toiletries.||The shower was about the size of the lift :) and actually had a good pressure level. Just be careful that you don't drench the whole bathroom because the shower head swivelled unexpectedly.||Yes the walls can be thin and there was a stale smell of cigarettes in the corridor. But the windows opened onto the street and you are able to get fresh air in.||The handing of the key to reception was a bit annoying (especially as there wasn't a safe in the room). But the cleaners did a good job (why they needed the key in) and we had our valuables with us.||The hotel itself is a 2-3 star hotel by U.K. Standards but for the price wouldn't...

Was possible to receive what needed tho.||Metro station just outside of the hotel.||Due to unexpected cold wether in May they immediately turned on the heaters and it was very warm in the room.||Kettle, teas, coffees and sugars in the room, every day replaced.||Watter pressure in bathroom very good.||||-||Terrible housekeeping staff. That's the only disadventage actually. Unfortunately had few unplesant situations during our stay. Once our room wasn't cleaned at all (we just have received fresh towels). Reception was informed and suppose to make sure our room will be cleaned the following day. Unfortunately, the next time bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. But what happened the last day was the worse. Before 10 we informed reception that we are going for the last walk around neighbourhood but will be back soon, before checkout. When we came back around 10 (checkout was at 11:30) our room was half cleaned despite our bag were still there. Our food that we prepared for out way back wash thrown away. Guy which was cleaning our room didn't care that we came back and kept cleaning the room passing by us back and forth while we ate our second breakfast. Outrageous.||Also, plastic cutlery and paper...
Read moreWe were in suite #15 and I found it over priced for what was provided. The bathroom smelled of disinfectant however, in fairness the cleaning staff had just left the suite, The area around the shower was lime stained from over splashing the shower and this could easily be removed with a little CLR and elbow grease. The water pressure in the shower was minimal. ||The room measured approx. 12 feet by 8 feet which was mostly taken up with by the bed. The laminate flooring was curled at the edges from obvious water damage. The room was tired and in need of paint or removal of scuffs on the walls etc.||The walls appear to lack any soundproofing and conversation would be heard in the halls and adjacent bedrooms. The elevator could be heard as is made it's way from floor to floor. Street noise was minimal except for the occasional police / ambulance siren.||The lobby was good, offering maps, coffee and tv with seating and the staff were fairly helpful. ||The sheets and towels were clean but that is the best I can say for this property. We paid 103E for the room or in Canadian dollars approx. $160.00+...way over priced for what...
