It was horrible. I booked because they had a room with twin beds. I booked with Agoda. However, after the hotel took payments for the two nights we found out that our room had only a double bed. I phoned the hotel immediately, and they said oh yes, but they were full and they would move us in the morning. I asked for money back due to the mix up, they said they would let us know. The room we moved to was a room with twin beds, but it smelled horribly. Like it has been just fumigated. We couldn't open the windows as there was plastic covering the windows. they charge you for air you breathe. A safe key, (not a combo lock) cost 3 euros, a fridge is 25 euros. We also had picked this place for an airport shuttle. We paid 36 euros for the "shuttle" The driver was in an argument with his wife, and when he found out the long line to drop off at CDG, he took another roadway at Terminal One. He stopped the car, and put our luggage over the barrier of the roadway, and told us to get out. It so happens that Airport security was behind us, the driver took off and airport security helped up navigate the barrier, with our luggage and escorted us into the airport. We are 50 and 60 years old women and this was a really stressful and not to mention dangerous end to our trip. The hotel and the booking agent Agoda, have taken no responsibility for this action by the driver other than to ask if we have pictures. Agoda has not taken any action for the misrepresentation of the hotel rooms with this hotel other than to say do you have pictures. I would never choose this hotel. They are unreliable and put their customers in danger with sketchy airport transfer drivers. both the hotel and Agoda are not...
Read moreBooked a room for one person for one night, on arrival I was informed I need to pay €10.40 city tax. I queried why it was so high as I checked online and it was €5-something and was told this is what it is. I asked to pay by card (as one of their USP's is being cashless) and was told cash only so I had to go and withdraw money before I can check in. ||Pros:|Friendly check in staff |Quick check in ||Cons: |Room not cleaned properly |No heating facility in room |Bedding clean but bed was not made well/sheets left untucked |No kettle/coffee making facility - you can buy a coffee downstairs for €3 |OVERCHARGED TOURIST TAX! |Hair found with 'clean towels' and small hair stuck on wall in bathroom |||The room, although basic and dated is really what you pay for. Although, I had stayed at other hotels within this area with similar price points that at least offer adjustable heating/coffee facilities and mini fridge(you can ask for a fridge for your room for €25). |The bedding was clean (bed was not made properly) and there was also some kind of dissolving tablet under the bed, I assume from the previous guest. |Bathroom was clean except for towel area wuere there was hair on therail and also wall. No kettle in the room either and they charge €3 for coffee. |I booked this last minute and only needed somewhere to rest in the evening and although I am not too fussy with accommodation I would not recommend or book again. It's better to spend an additional €10 and stay somewhere that will not overcharge tourist tax and also give you better ammenities and...
Read moreThe hotel is close to Sacre Coeur, Montmartre, Café des deux moulins, Vie romantique, McDonalds, and la creme de Paris (a nice place for crepes, waffles and drinks),... at a square of Cadet metro stop and half a square of a small market. Therefore, excellent location.
The hotel looks ok in decoration and the staff is nice. Room 13 was nicely decorated, painted and the bathroom seemed new. There was s strong and discomfortable smell in the room probably because there was fresh paint. Rooms floor as corridors' covered with carpets. Stairs may have uneven and uneasy steps but there is an elevator close, so accessibility is ok.
Internet was completely poor in room 13 and most time was useless. Hope the hotel owner could address that for new visitors. A small but funcional tv with many channels.
Tap water tasted sometimes to much to chlorine and it was cold early morning and too hot in the afternoon. Decent shower products are offered.
Breakfast is offered from about 7 to 10 am. They may need to know in advance if you will take it so they may prepare enough food. But they are willing to prepare on the moment as well.
There is always a person in the reception and are kind to help.
There is no...
