Wouldn't come again. So many things wrong with this hotel. Incredibly small room for what should have been a family room. Noise from the street was terrible, especially when drunks were shouting outside at 4am. No Aircon, the room was to hot even in April and we found it really hard to sleep. Some lights didn't work in the bathroom. The shaving mirror was broken (see picture). The safe in the room couldn't be unlocked, we were told that it would get sorted but that never happened. Plug socket was also hanging out of the wall (see picture). Breakfast definitely didn't warrant the €10 per person when you could go down to the pattiserie and get the same for a couple of euros. There are plus points, the mattress was comfortable and the shower was good.
P.P.
While excellently located, Hôtel Montholon sadly has more cons than pros (beside location, the service was admittedly polite and helpful). The rooms however are old fashioned and claustrophobic; the wooden closets, giving the interiors a nice, eco vibe on the official pictures, look much more run down in real life. Great location has a huge down point-the entire hotel seemed to be shaking from metro passing by directly underneath, and with regularity. Finally, the breakfasts - not at all bad, but served in a lifeless, almost abandoned kitchen area, with empty, uninspired shelves on the walls, seemingly agreeing with the rest if the establishment - the soul has left Hôtel Montholon. I was happy to do so, too.

My recent stay at Hôtel Montholon was an average experience. The hotel offers affordable rates, but you get what you pay for. I paid for the smallest room and found it to be cramped, with minimal space to move around. The elevator is also very small and can only fit two people without luggage, which can be inconvenient during peak hours. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room could be improved, as I noticed some dust and dirt in certain areas.

On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and hospitable. They were always available to answer any questions. However, the housekeepers cannot speak English, which made communication difficult at times.

The hotel's location is convenient, with two metro stations (Cadet and Poissonniere) located nearby, making it easy to explore the city. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, which was convenient for meals and snacks. However, the neighborhood is not the safest, and I was tailed by pickpockets while shopping in a nearby supermarket.

In conclusion, Hôtel Montholon is an average accommodation option in Paris. While it offers affordable rates and a convenient location, there are some drawbacks to consider, such as the small elevator and cramped rooms. The friendly front desk staff and proximity to local amenities are positives, but the cleanliness of the room and safety of the neighborhood could...

My stay at this hotel was marked by the incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. The hotel is conveniently situated, being close to the city center and within reasonable proximity to various attractions. Additionally, there's a metro station just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, making transportation quite convenient.

One drawback to note is the possibility of a nearby metro track, which might lead to occasional noise disturbances. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and the rooms were well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay.

While the staff and location were highlights, there's room for improvement in terms of hygiene and maintenance. Some showers were reported to be malfunctioning, and signs of wear and tear, such as limescale on faucets and showers, were evident.

In summary, this hotel provides a pleasant stay thanks to its welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. The proximity to key city areas and accessible transportation options are definite pluses. However, addressing maintenance issues and enhancing hygiene practices could further elevate the overall...

Eco conscious hotel, using current from durable sources, filtering their own water, organic food for breakfast etc. Clean, new rooms, nicely decorated and curtains kept out light nicely. You get some noise from the street but it's alright as long as you keep the windows closed. Less traffic during the weekend. WiFi was very slow in the room.

However happy we were about the room, I can't help but mention the poor breakfast. Not a lot of choices, and the available options don't really cut it. You juice your own oranges, the croissants are not the best, not a lot of different options in general, no fruit at all, no French cheeses. When they run out of coffee half an hour before breakfast ends, they won't make a fresh batch. If you are a person who values good breakfast during your holiday, do yourself a favour and go have this meal...
