The room itself was very nice, clean and had a nice bathroom. The wlan was average. They provide a mobile phone to use free of charge. That's a very good benefit. Sadly that was the only nice thing I have to say about this hotel. Depending on who has been at the reception they were from very nice to very arrogant. But that's the not so negative part as well. I rate this hotel with one stars because my credit card has been charged the full price for my stay at this hotel even though I payed everything 2 months in advance. I booked my stay through a large booking platform. Just when i checked in, I have got a message from my credit card issuer which said that my card has been charged. The receptionist did not care about that at all when i told him. He denied that it was a booking and claimed it was a reservation on my card instead. When I got home, I wrote several emails, provided different documents which prove that i have payed my hotel bill through said online platform. But also the director of this hotel did not care at all. Either she did not respond for days or she claimed everything has been handled correctly on their end. After two weeks of discussion I gave up on this issue and contacted the booking platform instead. It took them two days to grant me my refund. That hotel offers the absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced by far. There was no effort in resolving my issue at any time. Just empty phrases, at the end they apparently did not even...
Read moreThis is a perfect little hotel for a short trip to Paris. The location is great and very easy to get to on foot from Gare Du Nord. It then has great connections to the metro for travelling around. The reception staff are friendly and very helpful. Following an unexpected flight change the reception team organised a taxi for us to travel to the airport at 4:45am without any trouble at all and the taxi arrived right on-time. We unfortunately didn't get to experience breakfast but the facilities looked comfortable. The room has modern furniture which is very comfortable with a nice modern decor. Unfortunately the negatives preventing a higher review are the quality of the air conditioning (it is virtually non-existent unless you stand directly under the vent!!) and that some of the bedding was not as clean as one would hope in a hotel. The shower drain in the bathroom also ran so slowly that the tray would have flooded has we not stopped and used the hand shower in the bath. This was not great at 3am getting ready for our flight. However I am sure that if we had raised the issues with the bedding and shower the hotel would have gone above and beyond to rectify this as they were so helpful. I have a feeling however that the air-con may be a problem you would have to cope with. But a great little base for...
Read moreI am profoundly dissatisfied with the service I received during my stay. What should have been a seamless and comfortable experience was instead marred by a series of unacceptable errors and a troubling lack of professionalism. My originally reserved room was reassigned without my consent to another guest, under the pretense of an alleged “upgrade.” This purported upgrade was, in reality, a room of markedly inferior quality, deficient in adequate heating and lacking standard windows, offering only a skylight as a meager substitute.||When I sought to escalate the matter and speak with the management, I was denied the opportunity until the following day, during which time the inconvenience and discomfort persisted unabated. Upon finally addressing the issue, the manager exhibited a reluctance to acknowledge the validity of my complaint or provide appropriate restitution, despite the clear shortcomings and the considerable disruption caused to my stay.||This experience fell well below the reasonable expectations one holds when engaging with a professional establishment. It is regrettable that such deficiencies—both in accommodation and in customer service—were allowed to occur, resulting in an overall stay that was deeply unsatisfactory and profoundly...
