What a wonderful experience.
I booked this place with my boyfriend for two weeks. When we made our reservation we originally asked if we can check in early but at the time it wasn't possible. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived that our room was going to be ready within minutes. While we waited we were offered some coffee & relaxed for a bit in the work space they had next to the front desk.
When we got to the room everything was so clean & the space smelled great. They always left chocolates in our room & when we checked in we had a cute reusable tote bag (with the hotels info) & flower waiting for us on the bed. Housekeeping came in every day to restock our room, make the bed & replenish our towels.
The room itself was ample enough - We had enough large fluffly pillows & the bedding was soft & comfortable. This is the most important thing for me - especially coming here after a long day of walking! The tiny fridge had your basics - Soda, wine, beer & lemonade. Bathroom was always cleaned. They put the towels in a heater - just make sure to turn it on while you shower (not something you see in many hotels in my neck of the woods - this is my favorite feature!). Balcony view was great. I loved sitting outside with our snacks from the local bakery down the street. The only negative is the closet space which was very small. It didn't help that we had bulky luggage in the room so it was awkward to have it laying around. I did come to Paris in Wintertime so my large puffer jacket took a large chunk of space when I hung it on the closet - In the summer it might have been a different experience with the storage space.
The people who work here are so nice and informative. From the front desk, to the people at the restaurant (we ordered Uber Eats and the restaurant didn't pack utensils so the people at Nectar were gracious enough to give us some so we can eat our meals!), & the cleaning staff. The ladies that clean are quick at their jobs (while paying attention to detail) and always say hello when I see them in the halls.
At night since it was winter we would leave the balcony door slightly open to get a nice breeze coming in. Since the hotel faces a street that has a dead end there were hardly any noises at night. No harsh lights coming onto the room either which was perfect for me.
Getting around Paris from the hotel is easy. We basically walked everywhere - the farthest walk was to the catacombs which took over an hour. The Louvre is a 30 minute walk, Palais Garnier & Sacré-Cœur is 20 minutes, Les Invalides is 1 hour. To be honest there is so much people watching and interesting architecture that we didn't really notice the walk. Side note: From the hotel going towards Sacré-Cœur is at an incline - you might be a bit out of breath if you're not used to hills so take your time and marvel at the beauty!
I wish I could have stayed for a bit longer - This experience was so memorable...

I recently traveled to Paris with my wife and two teenage children in late September. The days were still warm, but the nights were cool and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Maison Mère, and we were especially grateful for the comfortable beds and air conditioning.
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even gave us adjoining rooms, which was perfect for our family.

Read moreI found this hotel based on its high reviews and am so glad we stayed here! The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home and they all take pride in their job and the satisfaction of their guests. We had the standard room and just loved it. It was bigger than expected with cute decor and nice little gifts they left on our bed. They left us good coffee to make in our room and a glass bottle of drinking water each day. The shower had good water pressure and room enough to move around along with a window you could open to let the steam out. Only tiny negative is that water from the shower did get on the floor, but we had towels to wipe that up. We loved how they had a big banner outside of our window so we weren't staring at a wall. Instead, we had fresh air in our room with it still being very private and quiet and we especially enjoyed the smell of fresh baked bread coming up to our room. 2 different days we opened a bottle of wine and had some crackers and enjoyed our cozy space before heading out to dinner. The neighborhood felt very safe and was cute and fun to walk everywhere. We took a nice walk down to the area of the louvre and stopped for some treats at cafes along the way. We even walked all the way to the Eiffel tower one day but opted to uber back. A different day we wandered the streets of Montmartre and especially enjoyed exploring the huge cemetery there. Twice we enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel and felt the service was amazing and food options were tasty. When fresh croissants or crepes came out they brought them directly to our table to enjoy while still warm, and they were always happy to offer a second latte or cappuccino without us even having to ask. We can't wait for our next trip to Paris and will never consider staying anywhere other than Maison Mere! Oh yeah, as other guests stated, the beds are so comfortable and we enjoyed great sleep after a lot of travel. Thank...
