We have just stayed at this hotel and feel compelled to write a review. Tidy enough(but in no way is this four stars)hotel with a metro(cadet)close by. We booked a family room and were told this was on the 5th floor but the lift wasnt working. A young guy was most helpful and carried one of the bags up with us. The air con wasnt working so the same guy came up to say it was then after much deliberation decided it wasnt. I walked down the stairs to talk to the duty manager who dismissed me and said the aircon was working. I said could he check and he said no. At this point I told him i would not be staying in that rom as it was like a sauna. Finally after about 40 minutes my wife and 2 children and i were moved into separate rooms, where again the aircon wasnt working.the man working behind the desk with a big diamond pendant around his neck was rude, dismissive and didnt once admit the problem or at any point apologise. We all had a terrible nights sleep and had to get up early for a journey to Lyon|I spoke to the manager in the morning who listened to my complaint about the problems and the duty manager to which she replied a quick sorry and goodbye.|I advise all travellers to consider this when booking as they really do not care for...
Read moreI found this hotel by chance on Booking while searching for something not overpriced, but still cozy, clean, and beautiful — and I’m so happy I did!
First thing I want to mention is how incredibly friendly the front desk staff were — seriously, so warm and welcoming, joking around and making the whole check-in process feel super easy and relaxed.
The hotel itself is very stylish and charming. The rooms are quite compact, but beautifully designed and thoughtfully arranged. I asked the receptionist if it was possible to get a sunny room — and he gave me one on the top floor where the morning sun came in just perfectly. It truly made my stay special.
Yes, the room is small, but it’s functional and has everything you need for a comfortable night’s rest. After all, when you’re in Paris, you’re not supposed to be hanging out in your room all day anyway!
I also really enjoyed the breakfast — it had everything I love. I asked the staff if they had oat milk (which wasn’t out on the table), and they kindly brought it to me separately. Everyone was just so polite, kind, and accommodating.
The location is amazing, quiet street, and walking distance to everywhere.
Overall, this hotel made my stay in Paris very positive and memorable....
Read moreMy sister and I checked out of our room this morning after a three day trip to Paris to celebrate a belated birthday. The hotel was great, really close by a few different metro lines so easy to get around the city. The hotel was also really cute and had a great breakfast. For the price it’s much nicer than I expected and our room had a beautiful view of the temple across the street. Today we checked out and after getting everything packed up, i was doing the final room check and shook out the bedsheets to find… a BED BUG. I had never seen one before but it just looked a little too suspicious for me to keep it moving, so I googled it and it looked like a classic bed bug. So far we haven’t had any bites but I read they could take a few days to show up. We hadn’t noticed anything until our last day or else we wouldn’t have continued to stay there, but I was pretty disappointed that the manager wasn’t able to offer us any compensation for the the bags and clothes we are not going to be able to heat treat at home. I understand that this can happen to anyone and the hotel wasn’t even a little dirty, but I can’t let anyone stay here without a...
