When booking a hotel on Agoda, there was no notice that the hotel was under renovation. If I had known this, I wouldn't have chosen this place. Why is it a problem that it's under construction? I'm going up after being assigned a room, but the smell of paint comes from the corridor, and I can hear the construction noise from 9 a.m. There are restrictions on the use of elevators. The elevator went up and down repeatedly as the construction workers went up and down the goods, and it was possible to use it after a while. Besides, there's a lot of dust. Anyway, I got the key and went into the room, but soon there was a problem with the light in the assigned room. The light is blinking and my eyes are blinking, so I wanted to change the room, but the woman at the front desk on the first floor just told us to plug in the key properly. It's not my first time using a hotel, don't you know this? I thought it was because I didn't plug in the room key properly, so I went up and plugged it in again, but the result was the same. And when I went down again, there was another employee and he changed the room. Now the problem has been solved, and I used it for a day or two without any major problems. And there is no glass cup here. There is a disposable cup in the guest room. But if it's done using a disposable cup, of course you have to refill it, right? You don't refill it. This is not a shared accommodation, nor is it a hotel, not a hostel. Should I provide the service first before I come forward and ask? And the tissue fell off in the room. It wasn't refilled as expected. I needed a refill, so I put the empty tissue on it so that I could see it, but nothing was filled. If this hotel was a place that implements an eco-clean service that we don't clean every day, you should have notified me first. There was no such guidance at all. And what kind of towel do you use? There's a lot of dust. How do you wash it? Think of the reason for the two stars because of the staff who changed the room and refilled the tissue at first. And the Wi-Fi is really not good^^ I was worried about connecting the TV too

This hotel was absolutely a shocker. It's a Lower end YMCA standard but at price £150. Checked in by a poker face reception, and he handed a bottle of water as my platinum membership recognition. Entire hotel was masked with a cheap air fresher, kinda remind me of general hospital. The carpet cleaniness was a concern. Room as said before, was a lower end YMCA standard, the bed mattress was a thin foam bedding with a bed topper. Towel was paper thin and rather woreout. Zero amenities in the room, no fridge, you need to use safety box in a share lobby area. they asked deposit before provide me a cheap kettle and with no glasses just 2 paper cup. Every time I tried to ask assistant from reception, they gave face that indicated "what now?" The breakfast is just too sad to mention, the the cafe a bit resemble to prison canteen I saw from the movie. However, the waiter at the cafe was the only person show some friendliness. Upon Check out, I was encountered another cold face staff, didn't even bother to say goodbye. Will I come back? I certainly will introduce this hotel to the people I hate. 2 star as hotel location, steady internet and one the only friendly cafe waiter. Ibis Paris Opéra La Fayette 9ème

To be honest It was my first visiting in Paris. So maybe I know nothing about lodging conditions in Paris. But I know lots about Ibis hotel environment from my past experiences. This hotel lack of something. Everything have fulfilled half or less. The amenities are half provided, the serviceman-ships are half or less. Etc. My most complaints came from room conditions. I am a person who have sensitive of allergic reaction. The room was not fully dried after carper shampooing. My allergic symptoms started in first day. The black mold grow in bathroom. I asked the front desk staffs to do something to solve it but never came back with proper solution. Please fix your problems.

My partner and I stayed here and chose this hotel over others in the area due to the location. We did not have high expectations and went through a travel agent who said this was a good hotel. We did not want breakfast included. We were, nonetheless, disappointed anyway. Upon arrival, the young woman working at the desk was extremely helpful and kind. She apologized for the construction happening to the hotel and pointed us to where would could get emergency clothes and other things, made recommendations for food, and gave us a map. Unfortunately everything else was a bit of a mess. Our room (number 3) had no windows (except for the one on the front door which looks out into the hotel lobby!) and looked nothing like the pictures. It felt like a basement. The bathroom had no ventilation, so after showering there would be condensation all over the walls that would drip down. There was no shower curtain, and the drain was slightly raised so the water did not properly drain and ended up all over the bathroom. Our room had no cups, no tea/coffee, etc. The room was tidy but not necessarily clean, there was debris on the floor and a fine layer of dust under the bed. The young woman and another gentleman gave us a kettle to use and two paper cups, noted it was strange we didn't have any coffee and gave us two packets of tea and coffee. When we asked for some more tea, another service man (burned into our minds for his rudeness) begrudgingly provided them, only to then charge us €5 during check out for them. More expensive than buying a 25 pack from the convenience store around the corner!

The upside of this hotel is the location. It is across from a beautiful Sfardi Synagogue, a short walk to the giant train station with convenient rail access everywhere. The shopping centre is only a 20 minute walk away. There are excellent cafes and restaurants in the area, I highly recommend looking on Google maps and sorting...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights for a vacation. It is incredibly convenient to the Montmarte restaurants, shops, and a little grocery store around the corner. The fellow who checked us in was very friendly, but he misunderstood our question about whether breakfast was included or not, so we ended up assuming that breakfast was complimentary each day, but it was not. When we were checking out, we were surprised by the breakfast buffet charges and asked the clerk to speak with his manager. The manager was Prisca and she immediately came out of her office and listened to our issue. She said that the first clerk who checked us in was brand new and therefore incorrectly told us our breakfasts were complimentary. Throughout our interaction with Prisca, she listened fully and told her rationale without being condescending or rude. She ended up only charging us for half the breakfast charges that our family incurred. We were happy that she gave us a break, but the nicer part was that she always stayed professional and pleasant and said she would retrain the clerk. After this interaction that could have turned negative, Prisca was kind enough to still help us book a large shuttle van and made sure that it arrived on time and we understood the pricing. We appreciate hotel staff like Prisca who are gems in the service industry. We won't hesitate to come back for another visit...
