Tigermilk — Restaurant in Paris

If I could choose a world to describe this place, it would be unserious. I had eaten here once before at the Sentier location. We were a group of 7 and 5 of us received our plates while the other two did not receive theirs for a full 40 minutes after we had finished eating. It was not busy at this time -- we were one of the only tables there. The manager there was regretful and apologetic.

This time, at the Rue de Faubourg location, the same manager from the Sentier location was there. We arrived just before 1pm with the rest of our party arriving at 1:30pm, a full one hour and a half before close. We were a party of 6 and we had to track down the servers to take our order, which they ended up doing for our drinks a full 30 minutes after we had arrived and for food, a full 1 hour after. We received our food about 10 minutes before 3pm. The server forgot to put in my order and when he came back to ask how everything was, we told him. He then came back to tell us that unfortunately the kitchen had closed and that he was unable to put in my order. All I had to eat were burnt sweet potato fries that cost 5 euro 50. He said, "I'm just a server," claiming the kitchen closing was out of his control. As a server, it's quite literally his job inform us in advance the kitchen is closing... He later came back with a pitcher we had ordered and had the audacity to say, make sure to give us a good review on Google. At the end, I ended up overpaying an extra 5 euros for a dish no one had ordered, but the management was unwilling to recognize yet another one of their mistakes and remove the order from the bill. The same manager from the Sentier location gave a nonchalant apology when I told him I never received my meal and then, was overpaying for something we had not ordered. No one at this business seems to want to work, or at least engage in customer service -- the bare minimum being taking customers' orders, the crux of the restaurant business. Customer service is significantly subpar. I will not be going back and I recommend everyone considering dining here to...

Wow, where do I begin? As a girl from Southern California my expectations for decent Mexican food were slim to none however my friend and I read the reviews and this place looked promising but what a disappointment in all aspects! Food was bland, no real Mexican flavor, I ordered the Chicken quesadilla as well as the ‘rolling dips’ and chicken tacos… the tacos were ok, but the tortilla fell apart before I could finish. Oh, and we requested that we have the starters first and then the main dish but instead of telling us they don’t do that when we ordered, they brought all food out at once and then after it was too late they told us ‘they don’t do that’. We ordered a pitcher margarita for 2/3 persons - it was really good, we decided to order another half way through the meal! However we were told the restaurant was closing and that we needed to leave soon! It was 14h45 on a monday!!! What?? The staff disrupted us 3 more times telling us they were closing, they were actually standing near by staring at us!! We felt so much pressure to finish our 2nd PITCHER of margarita we felt sick when we left. As far as the staff is concerned today - the girl was ok but the guy was just flat out horrible! Terrible look on his face the whole time, any time we asked for something we felt we were disrupting him even though he’s a SERVER and just standing around!! This is a direct note to him: Find a new profession, you are a terrible server even for Paris. Oh and the best part? They don’t accept cash, and to the owner/manager- your servers tell the customers they do not ACCEPT cash. So we have no choice....

A really cute little Mexican restaurant, which easily could have been 5-star if it weren’t for the poor service. The food and drinks are 10/10 but it’s overall not a pleasant experience.

I made a reservation online for 22:00 and upon arrival was not greeted, but instead told “we close in an hour,” to which I said we’d be quick and that it was no problem. We were led toward tables at which the host only gestured and did not tell us where to sit. We made a point of choosing what we’d have as quickly as possible since why wanted us on our way quickly, but yet no one came over for ten minutes. When they did, the server was muttering under her breath and clearly annoyed that we were there despite there being so many other people still there. At about 22:30 they went around asking everyone else if they wanted a drink refill or to order anything else and our table was clearly intentionally skipped. We were never checked on after our food and drinks were delivered and I had to stack all our plates at the end of the table for them to be removed.
