Parisflatlist — Hotel in Paris

SCAM! I booked an apartment in Paris through this agency, but when I arrived, no one was there to greet me as agreed, and the access code they gave me didn’t work. I was left standing outside with two babies and two elderly relatives for over an hour and a half, desperately trying to get in touch. Only after that did someone named “Nadia” bother to reply, far too late. I had no choice but to urgently find alternative accommodation, thinking I had been scammed. To make matters worse, instead of taking responsibility, she acted offended and never refunded the deposit. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible. Avoid at all costs.

The truth is: I never accessed the apartment. The code they gave me did not work, and despite trying to contact them through multiple channels, I received no response at the agreed time.

The apartment was perfect for our trip to Paris. The apartment is on the top floor but you reap the benefits of the stair climb by enjoying the wonderful balcony the apartment has to offer, which was our favourite feature to enjoy in the early evening as the sun was going down. Everything else was spot on too - great shower, comfy bed and plenty space to store luggage etc. It is only a short walk (10-15mins) to sights like the Pantheon, Notre Dame, Île Saint-Louis as well as great restaurants and cafés. We stayed 3 nights in the Rue du Cardinal Lemoine address, top floor. Great location, walkable to most of central Paris. Close to the metro.The flat was clean and well-organized. Quiet. Everything we needed was available. The flat was on the fifth floor without elevator, so unsuitable for anyone who cannot manage it, but the building will (after the hall renovation is completed) be quite charming.
