This is a grand building with large grounds. The entrance is actually on a side street, in Rue Rene Godest, and there is a sign on the main street to help direct you to drive around.||The attic room named “Belnaire” on the second floor is accessed via a wide staircase filled with hunting trophies, tapestry and paintings. The room is a decent size and has a nautical theme. ||The bed was a soft mattress and isn’t the memory foam type found in many hotels nowadays (it’s hot sleeping on a foam mattress).||Only one window in that room can be opened so it took a while to cool the room down after a hot day.||The wifi signal and throughput in the room were reasonable.||The en-suite bath has no screen or curtain so having a shower here splashes water on the floor. The breakfast is really poor; they seem to have bought cheap bread and jam from the store. The hotel owner isn't welcoming either; they almost expect you to greet them first. In short, don't be deceived by the nice appearance in the photos. It's not worth staying here...

It feels more like one is in someone's home rather than in a hotel. Which was nice for mum. They have a big gorgeous garden with 2 gypsy caravans for guests with dogs. And guess what the pool is actually heated. The only downside was it can't be used between 12 and 4 because the owners leave the manor at that time. I would...
