PAPER GLASSES IN THE ROOM WITHOUT TEA OR COFFEE FOR 70$ PER NIGHT - ARE YOU SERIOUS?
I’ll start by saying that, having worked in the HoReCa industry since 2000, I have a modest level of experience and a certain degree of exposure. Therefore, I must warn you that my review will be highly subjective and biased, as I am familiar with the services offered by other hotels at a $70-per-night rate, as well as the cost price of each service and/or product.
I stayed at the hotel from March 29 to April 2, 2025.
The main and only PLUS of this hotel is its staff. Attentive, hospitable, welcoming, client-oriented — the warm smiles of the team and their willingness to help neutralized most of the negative impressions I had of the hotel. Without the team, the hotel would turn into an overpriced hostel — which, in essence, it already is.
MINUSES: Very small room. Very poor interior - I felt like I was in a cheap hostel. Very noisy from the outside. The buffet line is very short. Every guest tries to get the food dagging you every time you get yours. The aromatization was too strong and persistent in the dining area - it was impossible to eat comfortably.
It is also worth mentioning the marketing component behind so-called “noble initiatives” such as plastic-free, organic, and similar concepts. The company’s positioning under such slogans is merely an attempt to reduce costs and maximize profits (as in our case with Ibis City Hotel), at the expense of guest comfort. This is evident in the use of cheap cardboard cups instead of proper ceramic mugs and a water jug that guests must carry to the hotel lobby to refill, instead of the usual bottled water in the room. Moreover, the seller (the hotel) applies a significant markup on its services while hiding behind the noble intentions of caring...
Read moreI stayed there for two nights in August 2025. The hotel team was thankfully accommodating and gave me a premium room with a nice view. The room was clean and organized, with all necessary amenities in place. However, unfortunately the smell starting from the corridors till inside rooms was sewer smells, the room’s ceiling wallpaper was uncomfortable for the eyes, and the appearance of some of the hotel staff was not professional, the breakfast had minimal options, and there was a big bug inside the room when we arrived. Finally, it feels hot starting at 11 am in the room, no matter what the air conditioning temperature and the restaurant does not receive orders through phone, so we had to wait for the elevator to go down and order some food...

The hotel is neat and comfortable, but the rooms were quite small, and the hotel services were bad. I travelled to georgia and stayed in this hotel for 4 days with my mother. In the breakfast buffet, there was a waitress, i could not get his name however he was a tall man with a beard and mustache, thick eyebrows, short hair, and wears a white shirt and black pants. he’s the only man waitress in the breakfast buffet. in our last day, he would walk by our table, whisper things to his coworkers, look at us and point. What kind of treatment is this? where is your generosity and respect to your guests? is it not important in your religion to be generous to your guests? how can you hire a man with the mind of a child, unable to treat people with the slightest respect. Every other worker in the hotel, especially the receptionists, treated us so kindly and saw to all of our needs, this man is out of place. We are arab and muslim women, it’s 2025, and this is how you treat people? are you stuck in...
