Volkspark Wilmersdorf — Attraction in Berlin

Nice walking, jogging and play park. Has dedicated swings sections for kids to play and enjoy. Even has ping pong tables for people to hangout. In addition to this, there's also a basketball court and football ground. The park is well maintained and looked after. You'll always find someone from the staff either cleaning, cutting grass, watering the plants, etc. Weekends are very crowded, but fair enough. I generally go for a run in the morning and it's very peaceful. Lots of trees which contributes...

One of my best parks in Berlin. Well exposed to the sun 🌞 and very clean. Compared to other known parks it's not very crowded which make it perfect place to relax and enjoy quiteness. It has also Hund-Platz 🐕‍🦺 and Tennis Field 🎾 nearby. It has also a big Spielplatz for children as well as many ping pong table. It's really good to just relax by yourself or come in groups and enjoy the beauty and quiteness...

Has a free to use public tennis court. But of course you'll have to wait for your turn. And many folks have no discipline as they keep playing for a long time when people are waiting on the sidelines. There's usually no honour system like we play for 30 min and then next one plays for 30 and so on. So head early or during the lunch hour...
