Fantastic place with delicious, well made food.

It is somewhat small and cosy, and deservedly popular and it's not uncommon to see people politely turned away so if eating here is high on your agenda (it should be) try to plan ahead, attend early or simply reserve a table if you really want to ensure a smooth evening.

The menu is focussed but broad enough to suit most groups.

Theres a choice of mild and spicy options, however spicy options are on the German scale. So, anything cheekier than a pack of Salt and Vinegar crisps or powdered paprika is considered 'spicy' and so don't be too shy about trying those options.

I've been here several times and not once has the food been less than perfectly prepared. The fried chicken is always crispy and tender.

There are no Korean beers available but German beer is present on tap or in a bottle and two Asian beers (Asahi and Tiger) are available in bottles too.

The ice teas are tasty and well presented.

The staff are helpful and attentive without being intrusive and I've never had to wait long for my meals.

Card payment is possible, not always a given in Berlin - but as with most places I get the unspoken sense that payment by cash is preferred.

Tip culture is definitely a thing in Germany and it's generally good form to round up your bill to minimize the need for change.

Highly...

THIS RESTAURANT IS TOO OVERRATED. 4.8 Stars? Nope. Pervasive Odor: Upon leaving, I noticed a lingering, unpleasant smell clinging to my clothes, which significantly detracted from the overall experience. Inconsistent Food Quality: While many of the dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, a few had a distinct burnt taste. I also observed flames in the kitchen, which suggests the chef may have had difficulty controlling the heat. Hygiene Issues: The cleanliness left much to be desired. My table was sticky, and the restroom clearly needed attention. Mixed Service Experience: The staff themselves were warm and accommodating, but I was taken aback to witness someone, seemingly the owner, harshly reprimanding an employee within earshot of the guests. This was particularly unfortunate, as the employee appeared to be doing her utmost to provide...

I searched restaurants to meet my friends nearby at Bundesplatz station. I saw some pictures of the restaurant that were uploaded by Google Map. And I knew „Kookskochen„ that this one was the place I was looking for. we decided to go there.

The day we were planing to meet together in the Kookkoche. I was able to find kooskochen easily from the Bundes Platz station. It took three minutes by walking.

When I stepped into the entrance, I was surprised by the lovely atmosphere. The lighting of the designer's work and tables were so luxurious that it seemed to come to the gallery.

We ordered stone-burned bibimbap, seafood soup noodles, chicken soup noodles, and fried chicken. Wow wowwow~ I highly recommend this place.

Even the bathroom is satisfactory to me. I was impressed by the care of the...

Nice food and efficient service. They have a lunch menu and I had a beef bibimbap. It’s quite tasty. I ordered strong spicy but it wasn’t spicy at all. I wouldn’t say it’s adjusted based on German preference yet Korean food is not really about spicy. The bibimbap itself was quite tasty. Quite less carbons so in a way healthy choice. A cup of hot tea was a complementary due to lunch menu. Quite good value of a lunch. My friend preferred a ramen which was actually Korean instant noodles with some extra vegetables and eggs. If I pass by the neighborhood, I may visit again but I probably would not go there specifically just to taste the food.
