Best-Western-City-Hotel-Braunschweig — Hotel in Brunswick

I wasn't so happy with my stay. I stated in room 103 which feels little outdated with tiny TV (old screw head it the bath room sticking out the wall, reading light not working) .

The worst thing is that there is very little soundproofing in the hallway and stairs to the bar (noise until around 11 pm) and to the kitchen for breakfast next to the room (banging closet doors and compressor noise and vibrations from 5.30 am).

Also during check-in I was told that my rate was without breakfast but fortunately I could proof it was included. Noticed another guy next day who also had impression he had breakfast included but then agreed to pay 20 Euros extra as he apparently did not bother checking. Not sure if this is an coincidence...

Not a hotel I really have to go back and definitely to be avoided in room 103! Be careful to not be double charged...

We had a top class " apartment" room ,newly furnished with a proper place to put everything,brilliantly lit and with a very powerful air conditioner. Most people would have rated the bed highly- as usual,it was too short for me and lacked an upper sheet.|| There was a safe,a kettle and a really effective fridge.|| HALF of the bathroom was perfect,but the other half had a strange wasted space where a bath should be, and just a small shower cubicle.Even this unfriendly device did not work quite properly,as there was no standard hot water supply,but an electric instantaneous heater which could not cope with with full flow.|| Breakfast was excellent in all respects,in a newly furnished room with staff keeping up supplies.|| My laundry was done within...

The Best Western City Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Braunschweig! The location is perfect — right in the city center, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and local sights. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a day out. Breakfast was fresh and varied, a great way to start the morning.

When I visited, there was only one staff member running the whole hotel, which was impressive. Despite being busy, they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly. You could tell they really cared about the guests.

This hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivers excellent value for money. I would gladly stay here again next time I’m in...
