Kapai Kaffeehaus — Restaurant in Brunswick

When I lived in Braunschweig, Kapai was a stop I made at least once a week... a ritual for my girlfriend and I. It's certainly the best cup of coffee you'll find in BS, and I dare say one of the best I've found in all of Germany (and believe me, I've tried a lot of coffee). Unfortunately, I moved to another area of Germany, and I only visit Kapai occasionally now. That said, every trip to BS involves making time for a Kapai stop- no exceptions :)

2022 Update: four years later and Kapai Kaffeehaus is still wonderful! I've had two visits this week and all staff I encountered were so friendly. I was very grateful for their excellent English (and I apologise for my atrocious German!). The flat white coffee I had (made by baristas) was consistently good, and the Spinach scroll was really tasty. Lovely atmosphere inside (I especially enjoyed when Fat Freddy's Drop was on the cafe playlist!).

Consistency when making an espresso remains a difficult area to manage in many coffeeshops, and is often disregarded on the expense of serving as many people as possible. Kapai Kaffeehaus has successfully addressed this while catering for quality and efficiency.
