Now, onto the two minor grievances, if they can even be called that. Firstly, the rating system on Google does a disservice to this establishment. A mere 5 stars do not do justice to the experience here; I would easily give it a thousand stars if I could. Secondly, the melancholy of departure is overwhelming. Leaving this paradise was the hardest goodbye, a testimony to the enchanting experience that makes one yearn for just one more day in this heavenly abode.

Last night we had a company dinner around 60 people, we arrived around 7:30 gave our jackets, bagpacks to a young polite lady at the door and with no tickets strangely. On our way out we realized that 5 bagpack including passports and ipads mobile and other valuables disappeared. We tried reach out to the management but the response was very weak by saying there is nothing much we can do, the hotel was saying it is the restaurant responsibilty and the restaurant owner was confused and insisting on checking the video only at 7am the second day despite the fact that some of us flights the second day and our passports and wallets were stolen. The police finally came cause we insisted and not the management. We gave our statements to the police and went home. This morning of course no one from the management bothered to follow up on anything and this is a 5 stars very reputed hotel in our eyes (until last night) I went there and asked for an update and nice manager explained to the me that the video showed some people took the bags. The hotel staff were super nice and pro but the owner of the restaurant didn't take responsibility for anything and until now 3 people are stranded in Germany due to the loss passports or other forms of identification. I can recommend the hotel cause everything seems very good but the restaurant is part of the hoyel and we got Robbed in the DERAG LIVINGHITEL DE MEDICI last night. I will leave the decision up to you but again we got ROBBED...

This was the most wonderful experience staying at the hotel .|The service here is exceptional ! The attention to detail to help make our stay comfortable and memorable was so impressive . Firstly the rooms are so luxurious - beds are super comfortable and pillows and duvets very soft and warm . The room was so clean and high standards maintained through our 5 night stay and always plenty of drinks in our fridge and tea / coffee facilities which is so welcomed . |The staff at the hotel have been so friendly . In particular, Wilmar who works in the restaurant is absolutely wonderful and a credit to the hotel . She took care of every need for us and did everything to make breakfast an exceptional experience . Always a lovely smile and very engaging with us and genuinely interested about our plans in Dusseldorf . Breakfast every day was an amazing experience and she made it very special with exceptional levels of service . The breakfast is incredible here with high quality food and so many special things to try . It is most definetely the place to stay in Dusseldorf and exceeds all our expectations . It is our second stay and already booked to return . Location is also great to visit the city .
