This hotel is located in a former apartment building nearby the center of Görlitz. The rooms are quiet nice and most of the staff is service minded. Our room had a big hall, a tiny bathroom and a normal sized bedroom with two chairs, a table, a wardrobe and a comfortable double bed. If you have the windows and the door closed, there is no noise either from the street or from the staircase. ||||They offer a big breakfast buffet – bigger than average. Unfortunately the staff that should take care of the buffet is not around when needed and if you are lucky to see one and ask her for something you should be attuned to person that react insulted and outrages. ||The breakfast room is aside a nice backyard with tables and chairs. Since the weather was nice, we decided to have our breakfast outside. When asked the staff to lay the table out there, she answered that she already have done it in the room and that she will not help or give any service in the backyard.||When I asked the stuff at the buffet for whole-grain bread which was gone she asked loudly how I could dare, if there wasn’t enough bread in the basket (there was only light and brown bread left).||One of our friends came with a little dog. He asked for permission before arriving by phone. They told him, that this was a dog friendly hotel. When arriving with the dog in the breakfast room, he had to leave it since there are no dogs allowed. He had to take a seat in the backyard even so they do not offer any service there.||Honestly, there should be no place for people like that in a 4 star hotel. While most of the staff is friendly, still it is not ok that one person acts that way. She sure is getting down the reputation of the rest.||I cannot recommend this hotel since kindly staff belongs to...
Read moreThis is a very nice hotel with a friendly owner and pleasant staff. Our room was large with kitchen facilities. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in the city center, away from the train station, and convenient to the restored area of this old but pleasant eastern German town.||||On the street outside the hotel is a daytime market. Although our room fronted on the street, we were not disturbed by the presence of the market. We found it to be a nice place to wander and meet the local people.||||The breakfast buffet was expansive and tasty. Indeed, it ranked among the best we have had. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and found the meal to be very nice.||||We arrived at this hotel without a reservation because of a refusal of the Sorat Hotel to honor a confirmed reservation. The owner of the Bon Apart could not have been more accommodating. Obviously, we were pleased with the securing the accommodation; however, the quality of our stay in the hotel and the quality of the facilities exceeded our...
Read moreFree parking for hotel guests directly in front of the hotel. The staff is very nice and the view from the upper floors is great, so make sure to get a room there (there is an elevator).||Conveniently located, with shops and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast selection was good, with scrambled eggs or fried egg made to order.||The rooms are decent sized and (at least ours) even included a small fridge and two cooking plates. We didn't hear any noise in our room on a Sunday night.||The only slightly annoying thing is that you have to check in in the hotel restaurant after 5pm, so if you don't know that, you'll probably go to the reception just to take all your luggage to the restaurant and then back to the elevator (which is near the reception again)... Also I think it is debatable whether this really is a 4 star hotel (hotel rating stars, not review stars) - it was great, and the interior is interesting, but I would expect a bit more...
