I don’t know how this hotel got its four star, to me it is, at best a slightly better 3 star hotel. As my stay here are quite disappointing.
First of all, what I like about this hotel is, its bathroom is relatively big. And it has some, not much, but some children facility like toys and stuff for kids to play with while we check in. I will give them a star for that. But other aspects are really not worth the price that we paid.
First of all, there is NO ROOM SERVICE! It’s really shocking as we DID NOT hang up the “do not dosturb” card and there is no room service at all! The diaper that I left the day before was still in the garbage can. Come on, four-Star? Also the beddings are a little bit itchy for us. Their hygiene is definitely less than satisfactory.
Plus there is no air conditioning in the room. I flipped through the reviews of this hotel. There was one comment posted 6 years ago, saying that there was no air-con and the hotel management replied that they were working their best to deal with global warming and their first step was to put a tiny fan in every room. Now. 6 years has gone by and there is still NO air conditioning. And the fan is only slightly better than nothing. We kept our room window open during the night and was waken ip by outside noise —— loud chatting and church bells ringing at 15 or 30 mins interval. We can’t close the window, cuz that would be too stuffy due to lack of AC.
Service is at their best average, not too good although not the worst. Location-wise, I do not recommend travelers without cars staying here, as the way from main train station to this place is upward slopes all the way. And people traveling with cars need prepare to pay for their garage usage, as there is no free parking.
All in all, we are very disappointed with this hotel and the four-star rating is completely misleading. Who rate them this four...
Read moreVisiting Gunzburg for a few days on business, I was booked into this hotel. I am used to large chain hotels, so I was reluctant at first.||||Know this, when you first visit the hotel if you've never been to the area can be confusing. There is not clear direction on where to park. (Please note that there is a parking garage right next to the hotel. Park there. The hotel validates your parking.)||||Now that I'm parked, the hotel staff is amazing at welcoming you. Everyone I dealt with spoke english quite well, and that was greatly appreciated as I spek very little German.||||The room is perfectly sized (for one person) and it's clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. ||||The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stocked. ||||The hotel is located just two blocks from the Gunzburg pedestrian street where you can find great little shops, fantastic restaurants, and some wonderful people watching.||||I really have no complaints about this property. This will be the place I stay when I return to Gunzburg.||||(Final note: this place is a short distance to Gunzburg's Legoland so there are ALWAYS kids running around. Thankfully, this wasn't an issue at all while...

In the lobby you will find a lot toys, LEGO, coloring papers and pencils.. etc, outside a small games for children (mini garden) full of slide and swinging games.
In love with their cozy place surrounded with beautiful view, with a Mojito drink.. And relax after ur children sleep. 😍😍
