The hotel is well located with access to the central station and to the main pedestrianised areas of Munich. The hotel is located in the Bahnhofsviertel which has a significant Turkish and Arabic population. It's not the cleanest place in Munich but we had no issues during our 3 night stay.
Notably, there is no parking on-site and some car parks are nicer than others. We parked our rental in the Sonnenhof Garage on Landwehrstraße which is about a few minutes walk from the hotel. It also seemed a bit nicer than some of the other car parks in the vicinity and they're all very similarly priced.
The room was well appointed with a generously sized bathroom. Everything was very clean and fully functional. The only oddity is the strangely rough flooring that looks like carpet but is more like a lino trying to be carpet. The hotel bar was also decently stocked and the barman was a very nice chap. You do quickly get reminded that this is more of a business hotel when all of the other patrons are working on their PowerPoints.
Overall, a good place to stay and see Munich for a few nights. Also quite reasonably priced compared to some of the other hotels...
Read moreOur stay at Boutique Hotel Atrium München during Oktoberfest was nothing short of delightful. The hotel's prime location, just a 5-minute walk from the festival grounds and a 10-minute stroll from the Munich train station, made it incredibly convenient.
The modern, spacious rooms were a welcome retreat after each day's festivities. While we encountered a minor issue with our lights on our first night, the hotel's staff swiftly addressed the problem by comping our breakfast for the entire stay and offering us a room change the following day. The night manager's thoughtfulness in lending us a battery pack and the hotel's gesture of providing a Wiesnherz upon our room change were truly heartwarming.
Despite the initial hiccup, the hotel's efforts to make things right left us with an overwhelmingly positive impression. Their exceptional customer service, from the friendly greetings to the helpful recommendations, made us feel truly valued. We would undoubtedly choose Boutique Hotel Atrium München again for our next...
Read moreI wish I had photos of this place, we stayed here in October for Oktoberfest. The location was perfect. We arrived to the hotel at about 9 am after an entire day of traveling. We knew we couldn’t get into our room that early, but they did say that they would store our luggage and try to get us in by 12 and even exchanged some of our money because it was a bank holiday and stupid us did not exchange it before we got to Munich. The rooms were beautiful and on our beds were adorable necklace cookies. I was heading out with a group the next morning and was running late, I was trying to make coffee in the lobby and I couldn’t get it to work so I just left it. The lady in the lobby, made the coffee and ran it to me all of the way down the street, if that isn’t customer service, I don’t know what is. The lobby is so cozy, with great sitting spaces and lush couches. My only issue was that the elevator stopped on the 5th floor and we were on the 6th, small walk up 2 flights of stairs...
