The staff is super racist and rude. They are polite and welcoming if you are a European or Middle easterner, but if you are an Indian or African, you are in for an insulting experience. The waiters don't even offer you a greeting, and you have to ask if you can have a seat. I waited for several minutes before any of them bothered to give me a menu and then again several minutes to have someone receive my order. And finally, after my order was received, I waited for half an hour, but still I did not receive what I ordered. All the people who came in at the same time as I, were already finishing their food. Finally, I had to leave the place without eating anything, frustrated and humiliated. It is the worst experience that someone can have at any restaurant. We got here about 2:30 pm and got a seat. All the tables were almost taken, but we happen to fund a table right away. We waited for 10 minutes before we got the menu. Then, another 10 minutes for the younger guy came to our table to take our order. We placed our order and had to wait for a while before we got our food, all the while people who came in after us got their food less than half the time we waited. It seems like we were the last to get our food, even though we were there way before 3 or 4 tables in the front came in. We ordered from the lunch menu. Really impressed and pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here. It was our first time trying Afghanistan cuisine so I had no expectations. The portion size was super generous, with lots of meat, vegetables and rice. We ordered the grilled meat dishes and they were so nicely spiced and seasoned and delicious. the rice was fragrant. The salads were fresh and crunchy. The bread was also amazing and went so well with dips. Everything was just so delightful to eat and we absolutely loved it! We were really really full and satisfied in the end. Really wish there's a restaurant like this in Australia.
