We visited here Friday 25th September 2020 with friends. This place is located about 30- 35mins north of the centre by public transport depending on the route taken (I use Marianplatz as centre). There are a few options of how to get here, such as trams 19 and then 27 followed by a short walk or the S-Bahn to München HBF followed by the U2 to Hohenzollernplatz and a short walk this is the quickest. It's on a largely residential street and for us right near a friend's apartment which is very handy. It was evening, it was dark, a little wet and of course it's now autumn so understandably we sat inside. Inside the layout is largely horizontal in parallel with the road, there is a dogleg to the right hand side of the bar, with tables and seating. The bar is straight ahead as you enter, there is a little seating area outside, out the front for when the weather is better and I think that they may also have a small Biergarten? The interior is mostly laid out for diners however you are welcome to just drink here, we started by asking to just drink and then changed our minds and ate here also. The beer is from Hofbräu München and was excellent, the food was also very good, prices were pretty decent, we had three main meals, one starter and 7 beers between us and it was €90. I think that we'll definitely be here again, service was swift, friendly and there was plenty of space with good...
Read moreThe food was quite good and filled me up, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. The waitress, a middle-aged woman who served our group, was extremely rude towards us. We got a table for five on the restaurant's terrace. The waitress practically threw the menus at us without saying a word. When we were ready to order, she came to our table and just stood there silently. We placed our food orders, and she walked away with a sour look on her face. She didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted anything to drink, so we didn’t get a chance to order beverages. The food arrived, and again, she served it silently without saying a word and walked off. After we had finished eating, we asked for the bill. She came with the receipt and once again said nothing, just stared at us rudely. I paid in cash—there was no option to pay by card. At least when I handed over the money, she managed to say “thank you.” The food was good, but overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. We observed her service to German regulars, and it was significantly better. Apparently, she doesn’t like foreign customers, which is a shame. So if you’re a foreigner, I’d advise against dining here. I don’t know how it’s possible that this person is still employed, especially considering the restaurant has already received multiple negative reviews about her and her customer...
Read moreI made this Google account just to write this single review. Food was pretty good, had enough to fill my stomach. HOWEVER, the customer service was atrocius!!! The waitress who served us was very very rude. She looked at us in disgust all the time. She didn't say anything when she came to serve us. She just waited and looked at us lowly until we said something ourselves. She only said a couple words to us, but those words were spoken in a very rude manner. Maybe all this is because we are foreigners, but who knows. I've read many comments about this same waitress, but it seems like nothing has been done yet. Never again....
