DO NOT lodge at this place. I booked with Hechtech House because of the location and the promise of Air Conditioning. As you know, Ghana is extremely hot and humid. There was no AC for days because the power went out and I spent my nights in a pool of sweat on my bed. I got ZERO sleep, which made my vacation in Accra unenjoyable. The owner, David, is extremely two-faced and dishonest. He presented himself as cordial in text messages, saying that he would refund me for those days, which he did. But THEN, when it came to posting on my airbnb account, he stated that I was "high maintenance", among other ridiculous claims. So if you stay here and pay for AC, don't complain about the fact that you slept in a pool of sweat all night long for a few days. And he also lied by stating repeatedly that the power generator always comes right back on. The owner is not fit to be running an airbnb. He's too much of an elitist Australian who has no idea how to treat people well. He has no understanding of the word "hospitality." The message is clear: you have to always be grateful for what "master David" gives you. One of the reasons he acted duplicitously was because he wanted to lead me to believe that he was a proper gentleman, that way, I would write good things on his airbnb account to keep his reviews high, but he would say bad things on mine, which is precisely what he did....

The host, David is very friendly, helpful and his staffs are always checking in if I am doing okay making it a comfortable stay. The breakfast made by the staff is very delicious, they also have a common area and a garden. As I stayed for close to 7 weeks, this place really felt like home and it is very convenient as they also sell drinks, provide laundry services, security to guard the place at night.
