Aggelos Hotel — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

I enjoyed the fact that the staff took care of us in many ways from the very beginning to the end: with a cake, teddy bear and champagne offered by the hotel for my friend's birthday; with little sweets ( macaroons & other delicious biscuits) that we received in our room every day; but what impressed me the most was that two members of the staff spent hours calling the entire island to find a company available for an ad-hoc tour in Itaka at last minute ( due to my lack of planning) . I also enjoed the late check-out, the possibility to have early breakfast at 7:00 or have breakfast packed when we left the hotel at 6:00 for a trip in another island. In addition the position of the hotel is very strategic and the view and atmosphere from the balcony ( sea or courtyard) in both cases is marvellous.Wide variety of food for breakfast and tables, chairs or sofas in many beautiful cosy corners inside or outside under the pergola.It was amazing and we felt welcome and sweetly spoiled for the entire holiday. This is the second year staying at this beautiful hotel but our third year to Kafalonia, we absolutely love it here just couldn't fault it.This year we booked a sea view which was absolutely stunning I loved every minute sitting on the balcony watching the cruise ships and yachts coming and going.. The staff here are just lovely so helpful and friendly make you feel so welcome The breakfast you get is plentiful a variety of pastries fruit hot food too and ive got to say the coffee is really good With out hesitation we will be back soon its our favourite Island and we definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else, its just a short walk to the town centre where there are a number of restaurants and shops..If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place for you.. We had an amazing week's stay at The Aggelos Hotel. The hotel is in a magnificent location right in front of sea where the local ferry and fishing boats come and go. The Aggelos is a 5 minute walk into the centre of Agistoli. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We booked a City View room which was lovely with a stocked mini bar, comfy beds and a great, modern bathroom with a lovely hot shower. Breakfast was beautiful with an amazing selection which included, meats, breads, cheeses, olives, local Greek dishes, pastries, the list is endless! We ate each day on the veranda at the front of the hotel where we watched the fishing boats sailing by. This was our first visit to Kefalonia and at The Aggelos, it certainly won't be our last.
