La Pasta Premier — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

We went to this restaurant on the last evening of our vacation, with a large group of friends - including children. Some of us ordered food, while others wanted only dessert. From the beginning, they mixed up our drink orders, and the food arrived after more than an hour. Even though we had clearly asked for everything to be brought at the same time (since some had ordered only dessert), they only brought the main dishes.

About half an hour later, when we asked where the desserts were, a different waiter than the one who originally took our order simply brought us the menu again. When we explained that we had already ordered the desserts and were waiting for the desserts to be served together with the food, as we had requested, the original waiter reappeared and casually asked if everything was alright and if we were satisfied. We reminded him we were still waiting for the dessert, and that we had specifically asked for the entire order to come at once. He objected, saying that he had brought everything together — and that dessert is "something entirely different" and is only served after people finish eating (?!?).

At this point we were already quite annoyed, and a supervisor came over to offer all sorts of apologies and explain that no dessert had been prepared at all....!!! He said he'd bring us desserts on the house - in fact it was whatever was left from the dessert display... so basically whatever leftovers they still had at the end of the day, because by that point it was already midnight and everywhere else was closed — so we couldn’t even go somewhere else to get something we actually wanted.

All of this happened even though the restaurant terrace was not full. There were several empty tables near ours. In fact, one table next to us left before receiving their food — the waiters were left standing with the dishes in their hands. It’s a shame we didn’t realize what was going on sooner, we might have had time to grab at least a gyros or a crepe...

This is the worst eating experience I had in a week of Kefalonia. We order 3 portions of mussels, and were served 5 mussels per portion. The quality of the mussels was disgraceful; rubbery, not cleaned, and tasteless. We told the server that the mussels were not up to scratch, especially for €17 for a dish. She told the chef, and came back to our table and said nothing. Two other people at our table had other seafood dishes; octopus and shrimp, and these were also terrible.

Three people ordered the Seafood risotto aswell, which included said mussels, and the they were just as disgusting. The risotto itself was well cooked, but was filled with sand from the mussels. It also only had mussels and shrimps, so should not be regarded as a "Seafood Risotto". There was also Goat ordered which was quite tough, but edible, and also contains very small bones. We told the same waitress that we were REALLY not happy both with service and the quality of the food. She said that she did not eat seafood so she didn't care about seafood dishes, and that she had told the chef and they would fix the problem the day after. She never offered to change our dishes, or to even serve us the seafood risotto and exclude the mussels. Throughout the whole evening, it was only the main waiter who offered apologies as we were paying. The waitress who served us was the rudest waitress that we had during our whole experience in Kefalonia. The manager was never sent to our table, and all that we heard from the chef was what the waitress told us, which was that the mussels were large and expensive for him.

We were comped one of the portions of mussels, and were told we would not have to have paid for the mussels, if we had sent full portions back to the kitchen, but the waitress was at our table 4 times during 2.5 hours so this was not possible.

Overall terrible service, averagely cooked food at best, extremely rude and unaccommodating staff, and the most disgusting seafood...

I would give 0 stars if I could unfortunately. I ordered a fresh orange juice which is €5.50 and the waiter brought me sour supermarket juice from a carton. I asked if they have fresh juice and he said "yes of course, this is fresh orange juice." I told him I'm not stupid, and he tried to tell me that it was squeezed a few hours ago instead of "on demand". He came back after 5 minutes and asked if I would like it to be changed as I hadn't drunk any of it. He then brought back the same glass of juice with some orange bits squeezed on top. I told him I can taste that it isn't fresh and to just leave it. 20 minutes later, I still didn't drink it, another waiter came with a glass of actual fresh orange juice and apologised to me and said he understood it wasn't fair so he had made me a fresh juice. Fair enough, there was no need to lie to me 3 times and speak to me as if I'm stupid. The food came "fresh home made chicken fillet gyros" it was disgusting cheap shawarma meat and pizza toppings on top of a pitta bread. Dog food. I wouldn't eat it if I was starving. Left a disgusting taste in my mouth. Not even sure if it was chicken. Terrible place, really terrible. No one cared once the bill was on our table, that's why the place was nearly empty in the height of holiday season The one waiter who decided to bring me the fresh juice I was paying for can...
