Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unacceptable Behavior Toward Tourists

I rarely leave negative reviews, but what happened at this restaurant was unacceptable. The service was exceptionally slow, and the staff was openly rude throughout the evening. When we received the bill, it was noticeably inflated. Upon requesting clarification, we were met with aggression from the waiter, who yelled that he couldn't spend his time explaining receipts to every customer. I insisted on a breakdown and, after a tense exchange, discovered they had overcharged us by €50*. Only when confronted with the evidence did the waiter fall silent and visibly embarrassed. Additionally, I am pregnant and required specific information about the ingredients due to dietary restrictions. Every time I asked about a dish, the staff had no idea what it contained, showing a complete lack of professionalism and care — something particularly worrying when it comes to customer health. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially in a place that relies on tourism. Being a tourist does not mean being treated with disrespect or taken advantage of. This was, hands down, the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life.

We ordered a few items, and they managed to mess up three of them—completely wrong dishes. Even worse, two items never even showed up. When we politely tried to explain the mistakes, the waiter literally started yelling at us, like it was somehow our fault they can’t get a simple order right. On top of this, he cursed the child from our table in greek language. I’ve never felt so disrespected in a restaurant.

And the food? I wouldn’t even serve it to my worst enemy. It was bland, cold, and borderline inedible. I don’t know what they put on my plate, but it certainly didn’t resemble what I ordered—or anything fit for human consumption.

This place is a complete disaster. Avoid it at all costs unless you want to ruin your night, lose your appetite, and get shouted at for asking for basic service. I’m still in disbelief that a place like this is even allowed to operate.

There were 8 of us on a week night, we were not in hurry, but the service was appalling. There were several waiters, the food trickled in one by one, and despite 3 prompts, and over an hour and a half, they completely forgot one of the meals (and the bread to go with the first meal which by then had been long eaten). At this stage you would think some sort of apology would be given...but the guy in charge said "well I didn't take the order" and then came back to say only one chicken fillet was ordered despite all 8 of us remembering the original waiter going through what we ordered. You would then think that they would pull all the stops to bring out a simple chicken fillet meal...but over half an hour later and watching others with the same meal, I had decided that enough was enough. At this point one ofthe waiters began to argue that it wasn't his fault and the head waiter was trying to smooth things out but still wasn't saying the right things like 'sorry'.
