If you’re looking for a truly authentic taste of Kefalonia, Palia Plaka is the place to go. This charming Greek restaurant combines mouthwatering traditional dishes, fast service, unbeatable prices, and a stunning sea view – a rare and delightful combo.
The highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the local specialties like kreatopita (meat pie) and bakaliaropita (cod pie). Both are homemade, generously filled, and incredibly flavorful – the kind of dishes that taste like they’ve come straight from a Kefalonian yiayia’s kitchen. Even better, they’re served hot and ready within minutes, making it a perfect spot for a quick yet satisfying meal.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a terrace overlooking the sea that adds a whole new level of enjoyment to your dining experience. Whether you’re grabbing lunch after a swim or settling in for dinner with friends, the view alone is worth the visit.
And the prices? Surprisingly low for the quality and location. Palia Plaka proves that great food doesn’t have to come...

The reviews really do this place justice. A little off the beaten path but absolutely recommended. Food fantastic, staff...
