Moulinos G Studios and Moulinos Loft — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

Moulinos Loft I don’t think pictures do its justice. It is so incredibly clean, beds are super comfortable with thick, spring mattresses (not memory foam, as many do), kitchen equipped with everything you can think of, perfect for a home-made meal, washing machine, iron, you name it. Nice, powerful, modern AC units ( very much needed with the heat) , that cools down the apartment within minutes.

The pool it’s just to die for. With a local bar around the pool, that serves hot and cold drinks and you can have English breakfast by the pool and many other dishes. I must say, the food in there it’s something not to miss, it’s a must! The burger, it’s something out of this world. You realise you never had a proper burger before and Stefano ( Steve), the main chef, he is the Island award winner chef! Stunning food! The family around the pool are so friendly and unbelievably welcoming.

The balcony views its stunning, with gorgeous sea view, you can see the airport with aeroplanes landing and taking off which we found it very entertaining, and not noisy as I originally thought. You can watch the sunset every evening which is not short from spectacular, and the sofa on the balcony it’s such a great idea. The location of this place it’s just perfect. 15 min walk from the airport (do not take a taxi, for a 3 min drive there is a standard fee of 25euros). The area it’s very quiet and relaxing, yet plenty of things to do. Argostoli ( the main town, which is beautiful) it’s 12 min drive, or you can take the local bus ( for 2 euros per person) and the bus stop is just 2 min walk from this place; make sure you arrive 15 min before the time shows as this arrive earlier than shown. Plenty of restaurants and terraces on the way to Argostoli, right on the sea front with stunning food. 4 beaches nearby with crystal clear water, sunbeds and beach bars ( 12 euros for 2 sunbeds or 16...

An unplanned stay but a wonderful welcome.|After a delayed flight and a shut car hire desk we were stuck at the airport at 11 pm. A really helpful person put us in touch with Georgia who met us at the Studios, fresh bedding in hand as the one room available had been cleaned but new linen not set up. She was so helpful and gave us a cheaper rate. |The studio room was clean, smartly furnished and laid out with a small kitchenette and a shower room/toilet. Beautiful apartments in a lovely area, the family that run the apartments and the pool bar are just amazing, I couldn’t fault a thing and can’t wait to return 😄 the finishing touches to the apartments are gorgeous and it was spotlessly clean, comfy beds and great aircon, well needed in the summer heat!
