Beautiful
Classic hotel option for tourists in Chios island. I love the decorations inside it. They are taken from every corner of the island. Lovely restaurant with Greek traditional food. Service is good and kind

Staying in a traditional first class hotel
My first experience with the traditional architecture of Chios was that hotel. I loved it. The service was very good. All the staff very helpful and smiling. Very nice breakfast. My room was nice and clean with a slight sea view. It also had a...More

Ok, but will NEVER come back
Came here for a relaxing vacation, and had a great time in Chios but a poor time at this hotel.
The Good Clean facilities Breakfast included Nice pool -Layout of hotel was nice Central location (5 minutes to airport, 10 minutes to town) Some staff were nice -Maid service was ok Room walls are thick which helps not hear noise of nightly weddings or neighbors
The Bad -Rooms are small and outdated, furniture and bed are really low to the ground
They said they had laundry, which we thought meant self-service washers and dryers, but instead they do it for you and charge you $25 euros for a piss poor job, clothes were still dirty and smelled a little/ I would of done it myself if I knew this
Wifi is free, but never works. I run a business and was not able to respond to emails or load websites, it was extremely slow. I complained but it didn't get me far
-Most staff seemed as if they were upset when you asked them questions and that you were bothering them. I figured they would be happy to have a job, but they don't want to "work" when at work, and act like they are doing you a favor
-They do a lot of catering for weddings etc., and seem to accommodate these occasions more then they do for their own hotel guests. We could not get parking many nights or eat at the restaurant because of this.
The tv has about 15 channels, 5 of them actually work and get reception, and 2 of them are in English, not sure how this is considered satellite tv
-There were only 3 outlets in the room, and they turn off when you are not in the room so its hard to charge devices
The pool is nice, however it closes at 7pm which is ridiculous and goes along with what I said about being more accommodating to those who are having weddings and other events
-The hotel restaurant food is not that great, and they serve the same thing everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would it be that difficult to have a different lunch and dinner menu and possibly switch it up?
Room was called seaview, but our view was covered with bushes, I guess if you stand on a chair you can see the sea
Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone at all and there are a few hotels and resorts that are way better. May be good for a short 1-3 night stay

Read moreIt was pretty and our rooms had nice semi-private porches with fruit growing outside. Overall the atmosphere created a peaceful refreshing atmosphere. It is within walking distance of Chios Town center (Chora) but the port but it was farther than I imagined (it took about 20 minutes to walk). Available parking that did not require a resident pass proved to be difficult in Chios Town. I wonder if there are rental car companies in Chios that rent cars with resident passes. I would recommend walking between the hotel and Chios Town rather than driving. Parking at the hotel was easy and complementary.
The biggest thing that bothered us was the mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. But their wasn't much we could do about that for our stay. Investing in new mattresses for the rooms would be wise.
It was also more difficult to get multiple room keys that I think it should have been. I think we went to the desk four times before we were successful. They told me their machine was broken.
The pool appeared to be closed for our first few days there because it was roped off so we asked the desk and they said that it was safe to go in but their was not a lifeguard on duty and that is why it was roped off. There was a life guard on duty for a day or two out of our five day stay. Also the distance between the lounge chairs and the pool was very small and I could see some people easily slipping and falling into the pool. It is across the street from the beach (Paralia Chiou) but the hotel would not give us extra towels to use there because they were concerned about the bacteria in the water. It made me wonder, if you are concerned about that, is it safe to swim? The internet said it is safe to swim in the Straight of Chios so I didn't understand that. The beach was also more rocky than I had expected (a mix of rocks, sand, and sticks). So we found it more pleasant to be at the pool rather...
Read moreThis hotel is rated a 4Star .. perhaps the stars were not aligned on my visit. The reception desk staff were unhelpful and put out each time I went to ask something. The breakfast staff are not morning people - at all. Not a smile in the room from them. Maybe it is that I am not Greek like a lot of the other guests. ||The housekeeping staff - what a godsend! She gave us ideas of where to visit, nice places to go eat and helped in everyway possible. The manager who was nice and helpful needs has to re-align the staff. Maybe the receptionist would be better served as a chamber maid.||The room was okay . A shower which only watered the wall instead of the person under it, aircon that was 2 temperatures cold or off (constant clicking the whole time) or the TV which is smaller than may laptop screen.||The pool served its purpose,. it was wet. Pool bar exists but never saw it open, staff are there to help if you speak Greek(covered this already).||Fortunately I like cats .. the rest of the team (not so much) by Grecian Castle had enough of them - counted 7 one night between ghe front gate and my room (all outside)||I came, I slept...
