We have been customers here for years however this was our last time!! We came to have dinner, party of seven, and amongst other things we ordered the risotto. As soon as we took a bite we all agreed it was extremely salty and we send it back immediately. The waitress came back with an attitude like she was accusing us of something and said that the kitchen told her it was fine and thus the food was fine. She had a bad attitude and was very rude to us. She never offered an apology or to replace the item! She then advised us that our other entry was sold out. We called her back and ordered two burgers because we were hungry. After about twenty minutes or so we asked another waitress where our food was and she said that we “didn’t have an order in” to our surprise. She offered to pick up the table and at that point we wanted to just go. Then the rude waitress came back and said rudely that she had placed our order and that it was coming. Another male waiter came and asked how our service was and we calmly said that tonight is not up to snuff. He proceeded to say that we should be thankful they are there to serve us and don’t expect more because the mountain was on fire and they are doing us a favor just by being there. He also never once offered any apology but instead he lectured us how we should be thankful!! There were indeed wild fires on the island and we were all very sad about. After almost half hour we had the burgers and the table was picked up. At the end, the rude waitress said she will charge us for the risotto even though we send it back and didn’t eat it and ordered two other entrees. We had to call the manager because she was arguing with us and was being very rude and disrespectful without offering a single apology!!!! We finally paid but they didn’t give us a bill or receipt in hand because they said the system was down. She then banged her hand on the table when she brought our change back! We left very distraught at the treatment we received. It really was the dinner from hell…. I later spoke to the owner about the terrible service which none of us had experienced before and he was very apologetic. It’s very sad to see a beautiful place like this that does have good food be misrepresented by waiters...
Read moreA really nice place. I have been on the Island for 15 days now, eaten at different restaurants every day. And this one was definitely one of the best restaurants, one of the few places I went back to. Which is surprising because the place was empty for hours during the daytime, when other restaurants around it had a lot of guests, all the better for me I thought because we could choose what ever table we liked, and there was a nice calmness to everything. I guess it has to do with that the place is new.
You get a lot of food for your money and it is mostly excellent. The price is actually very good.
My only two complaint is that when I ordered Flunder with couscous the portion was a little too small for me, which is strange since the other portions was always big, on the other hand the flunder was just wonderful. Also the pork filet was a little too dry for my taste. The Calf tagliate was amazing and so was the chicken with pasta. Their salads were interesting and very tasty, both the lintel soup/sallad with the amazing squid on top (best squid I have tasted on this island, they should make a whole new dish out of it imo!), and the zucchini salad was also very tasty. And the sause worked very well to dip the bread in that you of course get.
The finger food we got was very nice, especially the meatballs were amazing! And that's coming from a Swedish guy like me that knows my meatballs, so that's something!
The side dishes for all the food we got was just amazing.
Both times we got served excellent deserts, free of charge. Could have to do with that the place is new, however it does not take away from how nice that was.
The people serving us were relaxed and very friendly.
The view from the restaurant is a little more fun than most others along the dock, because there is most often some private boats from different countries laying close by. Fun to watch.
Just all in all an excellent restaurant that mixes other European foods with greek foods...
Read moreIf you're thinking about dining here, don't. Our experience was nothing short of a disaster. We arrived at 1 PM for lunch, expecting a pleasant meal. Instead, we were left waiting for 20 minutes before being informed rather rudely that the kitchen was closed and wouldn't reopen until 2 PM. We decided to stay and ordered coffee while we waited, but even getting a lunch menu was a struggle. After asking three times, it finally arrived at 2:20 PM.
When our food finally came, it was a complete nightmare. We ordered pizza and fries, only to discover a long hair embedded in the pizza dough. Disgusted, we called the waitress over, expecting a quick and courteous resolution. Instead, she simply asked if we still wanted to eat it. When we declined, she cleared our table with an attitude that screamed we weren't welcome anymore, and immediately brought us the bill no apology, no effort to make things right.
This was hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had. The service was not just unprofessional, but outright rude. I’ve attached photos of the hair in the pizza as proof. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place...
