The location of this small guesthouse is amazing. Ok, it's a bit far from the town center, but it offers such a relaxed environment, absolutely silent, with nice mountain views. The room has a good size, the bed is large, there's a nice window that lets the fresh air in - for a perfect sleep. There's also a mini fridge to keep your water and fruit cold. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean, cleaner than clean actually. Parking was no problem at all, just outside the guesthouse. The breakfast was rather small-portioned but everything was handmade and I cannot say I needed more, even tough I am a big guy.
What could be better? I like stiff mattresses, this was maybe too stiff, but the good pillows helped a lot. And I slept very well - oh the fresh mountain air! Also, there was no specific place for the suitcase so it had to lie on the floor, a tiny detail. Plus: I am a large guy, and the shower cabin was too small for me. I did manage to have a shower, of course, it's not super tiny, but I surely needed more space to enjoy my shower.

Read moreDo not miss it! It's spotless clean. First time after many many years to walk barefoot in a hotel room. It's just over-the-top clean. The room is very comfy, great mattress on the bed will ensure you will get a good night's rest. Important to mention the building also has a nice vibe and traditional decorations. Stone fireplace in the room and hydro-massage shower cabin in the bathroom. It feels like a lot of thought went into the design of the place.
I visited by accident as a stopover on my way to Chalkidiki and really looking forward to coming back again. Almost forgot to mention that the breakfast is unparalleled; to the degree that higher star-rated hotels would envy. It's including free range eggs, homemade (on the property) biscuits, cake and apple-kiwi marmalade, local cheese from the monastery up in Olympus and a wide variety of herbal teas gathered by the owner from mount Olympus. This place is top notch -...
Read moreSo this is for all the ones quickly browsing through the recensions: 7/5 overall experience, great rooms, amazing breakfast, probably the nicest hosts I have ever met. I absolutely recommend this hotel.
And for all the ones looking a little bit deeper: we stayed here for 2 nights total. In between we went for a hike to the top of Mount Olympus (E4 close by the hotel). We were greeted by Sakis and Eleni who made us feel very welcome and helped us with everything. We were also able to store part of our luggage during our hike and it was already waiting in our room when we came back. And don't get me startet on the breakfast!! Absolutely delicious! Retrospectively we are very sad we only stayed for two nichts but nontheless we want to say thank you for the time we could spend...
