Hairi — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

We just left the lovely town of Litochoro, Greece and I am already missing the food and the employees at Hairi! We spent 36 hours in this little gem at the foot of Mt Olympus, and somehow fit in 3 meals at this establishment, and for good reason. Our tour guide took our group of 9 for lunch when we arrived at 2pm, I ordered the lamb skewers and my Gf had grilled chicken both dishes were excellent, but what made them even better was Sonja our server and co owner of Hairi. She along with her sister and brother own and operate this establishment. Centrally located for optimal people watching, this restaurant is a do not miss recommendation! After our first lunch on day 1 we returned the following day after our 3 hour hike. We had the spicy feta, pita bread and local beers. Again it was so good that when it was dinner time we decided to head back to Hairi to have a green salad and Fasolada soup. Again, everything was delicious and Sonja juggled her tables while greeting locals and tourists with her warm smile and personality. Nested in the center, it has a really great location next to the main street with a great church view. It is a family business with madam Sonja as a captain. Two young, polite and frankly pleasant guys are helping this very positive and cool lady. Dishes are just fine, home made like. Cooked beef with eggplant is amazing! 14€ and more than worthy.Recommendations. Zucchini chips (6€)are also very nice with tzatziki (around 5€) Fried eggplant is a must try.
