To Pazari — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

We just had dinner at To Pazari, a restaurant recommended as a place where locals eat .. and that couldn’t be more true. This is a high-end restaurant with the warmth and heart of homemade cuisine—exactly what we love!

My family and I shared a whole red dorado (for three people) and a grilled octopus. The dorado was incredibly fresh (caught that day), with perfectly crisp skin and simple seasoning that let the tender, flavorful fish shine.The grilled octopus (half an octopus) was cooked to perfection. It was white and firm but not tough, tender yet nicely charred, with flavors that had depth without being overpowering.

To top it off, the owners treated us to some baklava, which was absolutely out of this world. The honey was beautifully infused with notes of clove and cinnamon.

Even though the food was good, the service was also nice, the billing was SOOOO OUTRAGEOUSLY UNETHICAL, that this place ends up with a single star amd please tourist avoid this robbery.

In NYC 20% tip expected even if you were not satisfied with anything (as workers kept on slavery level, you have to pay from the pocket their salary...), but I never ever experienced almost 40% "fee" - this was the term the guy used for it which does not have a legal background im Greece.

As I'm an extremely ethical person, I got frozen when I grt ripped and can't react. Next time without a question will call a police officer to clarify such a situation

We paid, we'll be back to the city and mountain, but will do everything to mark this place as a tourist rip off.

Perhaps we were just unlucky but food was unappealing, possibly several days old and relatively expensive. On the night we went we were the only customers and we were simply asked ""what do you want" without a menu. The Greek salad actually was actually good but the large portion of octopus was overcooked and tastless. Moussaka was a small portion cut into slices to look bigger and looked/tasted like it had been prepared days peviously. There was no atmosphere, disinterested service and the location is somewhat depressing. From the good reviews we expected much better and decided not to order anything else. Just as well!! It could have been so much better. Really...
