Oinoi Hotel — Hotel in Icaria Municipality

I've had an amazing 6 days on Ikaria. I can’t understate the part that the Oinoi Hotel, in Therma has played in making my stay here so special. When you stay at this hotel you become part of a family – the guests will chat to each other at breakfast in the morning and Filipos aided by Mariana will ensure that you have a wonderful stay. The breakfasts they provide here are really special – heaven knows what time they have to get up in the morning to make sure that their freshly baked bread and cake (a different type every day) is ready for us at 8am! I will also say that their Greek yoghurt is definitely the best I have tasted anywhere – and I eat it every single day! The ‘piece de resistance’ is their homemade preserves of which the lemon and the sugar free apricot were my favourites and all eaten in their lovely shaded garden. I’ve just loved it here and I’m not going to lie – I struck lucky getting this hotel at domatia prices!||The room I had was a twin but I was solo travelling and it was really spacious with a nice balcony. If you have mobility issues this hotel is perfect as it has a wheelchair ramp and a lift (elevator). I cannot recommend this...

Magical place ❣️❣️❣️ philipos is the best host you could dream of : helpful, helping with his heart - really attentive and giving. Don’t look Any further it is the best place to stay in ikaria - right by the beach. Clean rooms with all comfort. Cute little balconies and quiet! Best breakfast in town : ALL homemade 😉 warm cake and bread that he bakes in the morning. Fresh marmalade which was soooo delicious. Greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts, Oriane juice + Greek coffee ( or anything else ) + ham and cheese and if you want more stuff like an egg he adds it. What can I say ? I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The owner was incredibly friendly, offering a level of hospitality that I have never encountered before in all my travels.

Every morning, I was greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread, homemade marmalade & homemade cake . The attention to detail and the personal touch in everything made my stay truly special.
