Ionion Hotel — Hotel in Igoumenitsa Municipality

we've stayed here 3 or 4 times, last time 2 years ago. it's just on the edge of the village as you come in from Igoumenitsa and affords good views along the road - you always know what's going on! This is a busy road so the front studios are noisy but they have air con and double glazing. The 1 room studios are big, very clean and all have balconies. The back studios look out on to the olive trees and hillside which rises immediately behind the hotel. Studios are on 1st floor, haven't seen downstairs. We stayed there for 5 nights, the location was perfect because you were close to everything but also had your privacy on your balcony and you weren't force to close your drapes because you have. a of parade of people passing by.. The room was clean and spacy enough, we were with our toddler so it was good enough. Some appliances were missing from the kitchen but we managed to live without them..The beds were comfortable and the a/c, wifi and TV was working fine. Recomended for relaxing holidays. An all set up basic self catering accommodation. We were surprised by the standard of cleaning. Five star, we even pulled out the bed to see if the standard was as high as our first impression and heyho perfect. The owner runs a welcoming set up, you don't feel out of place and you can count on there hospitality when or if needed. Great location with easy access to Sivota harbour.
