Olympic Hotel — Hotel in Ioannina Municipality

In its day it was probably a delight to be at this hotel - you still feel the classic period of its early days in the lobby and reception and the interaction and dress of staff. Location is superior in so many ways. Staff are super courteous and flexible and accommodating. Stay every year with family. I would hope that they will start to update a few things. Air conditioning is awkward and old although room was cool enough. Wifi was not reliable while I was there so we had to make other arrangements for that. The carpet in the room was stained and there was debris on it when I arrived and it was still there when I left. Fortunately for me I only saw the litter under the bed as I was leaving. There were little plastic glasses and 3cm of fluff under there. There were ants on the table in the dining room another guest mentioned it to the dining staff who made no attempt to do anything about the ants. Breakfast was poor, really low quality juices. The door in the bathroom was rotted out because of the badly designed shower. When you have a shower all the water floods the bathroom and you have to dry it with the bath mat or risk slipping on the floor. Would not...

The Hotel is one of the best I have stayed in.
