Just a short stay in Ioannina and wanted to be central which the hotel was so great location. Did not have to use the car for getting around. Everything was within a 10 minute walk.||I realise this is a budget hotel and the daily rate was excellent but there are a few simple things any accommodation should have no matter what the price.||Had to make the bed up which really is a poor show. They have the bed presented as you would in the summer, bottom sheet OK but top sheet folder across the bottom of the bed looks lovely and cool in the summer but arriving out of the freezing cold to a cold bed is not the most inviting. I found the duvet in the wardrobe so once the bed was made it looked better. My all time gripe is why 1 pillow per person, so annoying. We found an extra cover in the wardrobe to fold up as a 2nd pillow. The room was spotlessly clean, great little minifridge and plenty of clothes hangers in a largish wardrobe. Bathroom clean, small and in need of updating, new taps etc would make a difference. WIFI in our room was good.||Probably wouldn't use this hotel again. By the time we paid for the municipal parking which was a lot more than initially told we would have been better to spend that money on a more expensive room with onsite parking.||As I said though great location, excellent coffee shop and bakery next door...

YOUR not getting a 5 star mega luxury resort, but the hotel never says it’s a luxury resort.
The hotel is situated PERFECTLY in the city center. You literally walk out your door and your in the action.
When arriving, the person working the desk was very friendly, smiling, and helpful. Even the old man that’s stated in other reviews was smiling and said goodbye on my departure.
The room was clean, sheets were clean, pillow case was clean, and towels were clean.
The bathroom is small, and could be a little fancier, but it’s not that bad especially for the price. Your paying half or 3rd of other hotels.
Room comes with a fridge, which is great, and even a balcony. Small desk was nice, which allows for some work.
I would stay here again and...
Read moreWhen you get here it's up an alley about 10m and kind of hard to find from the road because the awnings kind of block the view of the sign. If you are lucky you'll find some parking nearby. All parking around here is free.
The view was nice of you get a room facing the square and there's lots of stuff around it, so it's a good location with everything being pretty much in waking distance.
The rooms are very simple, with a tiny tv, table and very sparsely furnished. The shower head didn't stick to the wall so you had to hold it. The bed was solid like a rock. If you're fine with that and won't be spending much time in the room, then this place is probably okay for you.
If you are looking for something special, fancy, or you have high expectations then I'd suggest you...
