Oasis-Retro-Gastro-Bar — Restaurant in Ioannina Municipality

I am extremely disappointed with my visit to Oasis Coffee. My friends and I arrived 20 minutes before closing time, and we were shocked by the terrible service we received. There were at least four staff members sitting around the bar, chatting, with no customers in sight in the large, beautiful space. When we asked where we could sit, we were told we could not order anymore as the kitchen and bar would be already closed. This is beyond frustrating. Why would a coffee place not offer full service until the official closing time?

The staff was incredibly rude and seemed uninterested in helping us. It's clear they had no intention of doing any actual work in the last 20 minutes of their shift. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional. I truly hope the owner sees this review and realizes what’s happening in their shop. A very nice-looking café, but unfortunately with misleading menu. None of the filter coffee options on the menu are actually offered. The call themselves "specialty", which is questionable, considering both their coffee quality and their hospitality. The waiting staff is lovely but clearly untrained when it comes to specialty coffee. It was the same when we visited about a year ago. My americano was not what I expected.
