Love the atmosphere and price value for the food you get, but to be honest the food wasn’t good. The Greek salad was overly-salty (it’s supposed to be savory, I know, but I think this was too much), meats came out burned and the chips were oil-soggy.

The service was a bit lacking, as everyone seemed like they had somewhere more important to be, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. No one was rude to us, just inattentive. We informed the staff that was food wasn’t good, and there wasn’t an option to take the burnt meats off the bill. After we paid, someone came over and gave us an option to get something else, but we were running low on time, my appetite was gone at that point, so I declined. I’m not sure if they saw me taking pictures of the food and got worried about a bad review.

It was our first time in Ioannina, and maybe it just wasn’t to our taste pallets, but I’d say avoid the Kontosouvlis. It’s such a shame because the atmosphere is very nice, and it did take quite a while. Their other items on the menu may be better.
