Niriides Studios & Apartments — Hotel in Katerini Municipality

I’ve stayed at Niriides four nights together with a relative’ family (4 people staying in 2 rooms - a double room and a studio) to spend the Easter and I can say I did a great pick. The hotel is one of the newest of this resort and its location is very good for those who want to avoid the crowd and the noisy of the central street. Though, it is around 4-5 minutes walking to the beach and one minute to the Lidl big store, who is an important advantage, considering the hotel does not serve breakfast. Niriides has around 15 rooms on three levels (with an elevator), consisting in double rooms, studios (with a kitchenette) for 2 or 3 people and apartment for 4 people. Each unity has high quality furnitures in the room and new amenities in the private bathroom (including nice toiletries), LCD, refrigerator, strong (incorporated) air conditioned, comfortable beds and a balcony, one of them overlooking the Olimp mountain. There is also a very good WIFI signal everywhere. The official photos on internet are true and show what really you’ll find there. One more advantage is that the hotel is not for groups. ||For the tourists travelling by car, relatively speaking to others central hotels, at Niirides are no problems, some parking places are available around the building, but you can also park for free on the street, right in front of the hotel. ||Niriides is an family run hotel and the young lady Paula is the main person who manage everything. She is speaking English as a British, is very friendly and kind, always ready to help with advices and she did absolutely everything for us to have an unforgettable stay.||All things considered, this hotel is definitely a very nice place to stay in Paralia Katerinis, I fully recommend Niriides to tourists who want to get a great value for moderate money. Is situated in paralia katerini, near Lidl market.||It is very crowdy in high season, full of romanian, serbian and bulgarian families. Some of them are very loudy, might be unconfortable for an entire holiday. We spent only one transit night...still annoying.||Expect loud music in the evening, from restaurants. Expect to find the beach so crowdy around noon, not even a single space free.||If you are traveling by car, choose to drive for five minutes, there are many free beaches near by, beautiful, large and more important empty.||||The hotes itself is very chic. Has high quality furnitures and bathrooms.||We had an apartment, meaning two bedrooms, one with a tiny kichinette, two bathrooms and two balconies. Just perfect.||We were traveling with two children, one two years old, another four years old.||The apartment was a perfect choise, the bedrooms are completly separated, ideal for traveling with children.||i was impressed to see in the bathrooms hans grohe sanitary.||Strog Wifi.||The owner speaks a great english and spanish and is ready to assist you in any way.||It was very clean , spotless. Also, has a very performant air condition, in fact a clima for the apartment. Wonderfull.||A little far away from the beach, might be difficult if you walk back at noon, when the sun is shinning...||||||Minus||Crowdy & noisy.||Don t come here if you want the tinest moment of silence and i mean in paralia katerini at all.||Or if you intend to rest, quietly in the evenings, to listen to cicada or to admire the stras.||All you will ever hear will be very loud music from the restaurants. Live, loud and cheap greek music, specialy for turists.||You will hear it even with all door and windows closed. We had a difficult time with the children because of the noise.||And keep in mind this hotel is somehow away from the tavernas area. ||It is not just a question of different taste in music, it is just very...

I can say that I was really lucky finding such a nice place in such a short time. We decided to go to Greece 2 weeks before our holiday. Because we decided in such a short notice we needed to change rooms twice; but we knew this from the begging.||I was really surprised that the kitchen was equipped with the necessary tools if you want to cook something. The balcony had already chairs and a table plus an ashtray if you want to smoke outside; also they had a place where you could hang wet towels. I enjoyed as well the big bed which they had there and the air conditioning in the room which is a big plus. ||Paula is really nice and every time you ask her something she is keen to solve the problem with a smile on her face. I enjoyed my stay so much that I was really sorry that we needed to go home. ||Because the apartment is not so close to the beach we could have a good night sleep and the next morning you were fresh and not feeling tired. It was like 5 minutes away from the beach. ||I strongly recommend this location if you want to go on holiday as self catering and enjoy the exploration other restaurants there. ||For sure we will book here our next...
