Ξενοδοχείο Orion — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Had a fabulous second visit to The Orion was a great week the staff all of them still as welcoming & friendly Spiros (called cranky) in a previous review I have never seen like that the|man is never still from the minute he walks in running the bar, pool area , sunbeds and waiting on with the very gorgeous reasonably priced food & drink, to the minute he leaves . (The portions were so big my friend and I shared every day, all I thought whilst being extremely polite & friendly even when that’s not always how people speak to him !!! The rooms were lovely as are the hotel grounds kept really well and tidy, I do think the only thing they need to really look at is the sunbed situation my friend and I were happy to pay on the beach but for the rest of the residents some weren’t able to get down to the beach and if people didn’t want to pay they couldn’t get always a bed, residents I think should have priority over sunbeds round the pool and on the beach even on the day then if there are still some empty on the beach by 11.30 then rent them out to non residents because I spoke to a couple of people who had to sit in a chair round the pool and when your on the plain coming all you want to do is get changed and lie round the pool or beach thats like switch off stress start off holiday for a lot of people .Thats the only thing that needs sorting for my ears it’s all we heard negative from people moaning and it shouldn’t really even be a conversation x didn’t spoil my holiday though and I would be back year after year if I can 😎||Thank you |Rula , Spiros , Beth and the rest of the staff who’s names I don’t know just there lovely smiles...

Hotel Orion Nidri gets very good reviews and we do agree with them, but we felt our room, although comfortable, would benefit from an upgrade, especially the shower. All staff are lovely and very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We would recommend Orion hotel as it’s in a great location, right on the pebbly beach with good comfy sun loungers (pre bookable & changeable 15 euros per day), there are a few metal loungers which are free. The views are spectacular across the bay and great for sun worshippers, and swimmers, the swimming pool was also lovely with comfortable, cushioned sun loungers and parasols. Safe key available at 14 euros per week. There is air con in the rooms and a kettle with cups, plus a small fridge to keep your drinks nicely chilled. Pool & beach towels available. Breakfast is served from 8-10am. The snack bar is good at lunch time, so all in all, a complete package. Nidri is a nice, compact resort with a choice of bars, restaurants, local tavernas, pharmacies, ice cream shops and supermarkets. There’s plenty of day trips to go on from the harbour. After 3 weeks stay at this fantastic hotel Orion, Nidri we feel we have to write a rewiev and a big THANK You to the very speciel staff and mannneger. Very attensive, very helpfull very kind, felt almost as famely after 3 weeks.the hotel is perfect, all facillities at hand all you need, close to see, fantastic pool and bar area driven by 2 girls who jumps and run for you the whole day! Miss you, girls! The room 2 a was very nice, full see and pool view, very good bed and a nice bathroom with shower..and not to forget free ac, free sunbeds on the beach,sunloungers only for hotelguests by the pool. Free deposit box in the room and pooltowels on request also free. What more to wish? We had a very good time with “ our girls “ at the hotel, and give it our best recommendation.
