hotel Nostos — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

We have been visiting Nidri for about 12 years and tried several hotels, usually near the sea front promenade. This hotel is a gem. We booked 2 days prior to coming and, since many hotels were fully booked until July, tried booking.com again. Being a little dubious of the very high score rating as opposed to the low price, we thought we would try our luck 10 min out of town. What a great find to the point that I considered not writing a review as it might encourage more so I would not be able to rebook. However, the place is clean, clean, clean which zi like. The owners smile and greet you whenever they see you and are exceptionally helpful. The staff are pleasant. Small pool which was like our own private spot most of the time even though the hotel was occupied. Breaks is 3 euros! and includes greek yoghurt, honey, tea, coffee, toast, cheeses, ham etc. Sitting on the patio over looking the sea each morning is sublime. There are lots of little extras like daily cleaning, sweeties at reception, plenty of storage in your room, toiletries, daily clean towels, mosquito plugs, pegs, window netting. The pool furniture is new and the parasols lined. You can get a simple toasted sandwich for 1 euro at the pool bar and the service is excellent. It is about 10 min walk to the town, but we hired a scooter which was cheap and fun and it was useful for getting about on Megonnissi on the ferry. Relaxation, comfort, peace and an excellent stay and very much worth the excellent TripAdvisor rating....

Staff super kind and available for any request (during extra time as well).||They changed towels any day even it was supposed to be changed every 2 days.||Room and bathroom clean, but the room was little for 3 people. We had very little space to move around the beds.||Breakfast space good, in particular the outside space. Breakfast simple but enough. You can find some sweet foods, yogurt, milk, coffee, orange juice, some fruits and sausage||WIFI connection and conditioning air were ok.||Nice swimming pool if you want to relax at the hotel.||Location is good, not so far from Nydri center (about 10 minutes walking), a little location where you can find several restaurants near the sea.||I have not visited the beaches near the hotel, but...

This hotel gets 4 stars because of the cleaning lady, give this woman a raise! Super clean rooms, everyday she even packed our clothes and did a great job. The room is okay, pretty small but 2 people manage. The bathroom is really small and ancient looking. If i could rate the breakfast, i'd give it -5 stars. It's really bad, i don't recommend taking with breakfast because you just can't eat it. Very friendly staff. You still have to pay 5 euro per day for AC. Nice pool and terrace. You also have...
